Positive: We loved our stay at Utasawa lodge on beautiful Isla del Sol. The family who run the lodge are very welcoming and friendly. We had a stunning view from our room. Breakfast was excellent, eaten in the dining area with a lovely view of lake Titicaca.

Positive: Las cabañas están muy bien hechas, tienen agua caliente y una vista espectacular. Construir y mantener esa infraestructura allí no es nada fácil. Sonia y Kenny muy atentos.
Negative: Nada. Solo diría que este tipo de turismo es para gente en condiciones porque todos tenemos que subir y no es tan fácil, pero no tengo quejas de la propuestas

Negative: The shower was not great. It was warm but without much water pressure. Hard to take a bath in the cold.

Positive: Beautiful room, Sonia and family were fantastic. Those windows and the views absolutely makes the hike up all those stairs well worth it. Comfortable beds with plenty of blankets and a heater was available to warm the room as night settled in. One of the best places we stayed on our travels throughout Bolivia.

Positive: This is my second stay at Utasawa. I loved everything about it last time and this time is no different. The rooms are fabulous with the most incredible views. They are beautifully finished and very spacious and comfortable but the best thing about Utasawa is the owner and her family. They can’t do enough for you and are always so friendly and accommodating.

Positive: Beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the lake and snowcapped mountains. Really lovely and helpful hosts who helped us arrange a boat to the end of the island so we could hike back. Fabulous breakfasts. They also sorted out donkeys to bring our luggage up the steps to the lodge from the port. Unless you are super-human this absolutely necessary in this thin air. There are a lot of local cafes and restaurants, but you need to be prepared to walk further up the hill for these. We stayed 3 nights which allowed us to relax and really enjoy this beautiful island.
Negative: The dining area could be chilly but there were heaters in the rooms. The shower was a bit temperamental but most of the time we had hot showers. You need to be prepared for the effects of the altitude.
