Positive: Great location. Allowed us to have our dog stay. Well furnished. Very well equipped kitchen.

Negative: A slight musty smell downstairs. Grout in showers may need a good scrub.

Positive: Perfect location with amazing views. Very spacious and roomy for all the family. Easy walk down to the beach and to local cafes and restaurants. There are amazing coastal walks in each direction with the path running just below the house. Our dog loved the house just as much as we did!

Negative: Fridge is a little small for a large house but there is a handy bar fridge downstairs.

Summary: Our family had a fantastic beach holiday at Walters. We didn't want to come home!

Positive: Very comfortable stylish property with a gorgeous view, just a few minutes walk to Shelly Beach. Securely fenced for our dogs and well equipped throughout. The agents did an excellent professional job and responded to queries promptly and efficiently.

Negative: The steep internal stairs were too much for our elderly dog and would be dangerous for young kids, so a barrier would be a welcome addition. The painted wood floors were also very slippery.

Summary: Amazing stay in a beautiful location.

Summary: Highly recommended !! Was great to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Byron but close enough for day trips.

Positive: I loved the old original building that had been sympathetically renovated. The simplicity was appealing. The furniture was of good quality and comfortable. Easy to keep clean with broom, brush and tray etc. Beautiful view and sound of a much loved and familiar beach.

Negative: Not quite enough room for food supplies to be stored. TV didn’t have a Chromecast as far as I could ascertain. All in all a little bit squeezy in the bathrooms and kitchen but manageable. Pity about the block being subdivided 😂 No microfibre attachment for the mop so couldn’t do a daily run over the floor. Still needs sails or cover for verandah reinstalled.

Summary: Our family loved our stay and discussed returning for another holiday.

Positive: Amazing view and location. Easy walking distance to the beach and a few cafe’s and restaurants. Comfortable and stylish furnishings and a modern coastal vibe. The fenced and secure yard was great for my dog.

Negative: The balcony isn’t covered so not great if it rains but there’s still an amazing view from the main living area and bedroom so not a major issue.

Positive: The Location was fantastic. Easy walk to beaches and cafes. Awesome view of Shelly Beach. Minutes drive to Ballina and Lennox. Good character beachy decor. Lovely deck, but glad we had overcast weather otherwise it would have been unusable. Loved the hot outdoor shower! Shortcut to the beach!

Negative: Would have liked aircon in the upstairs bedrooms and lounge area. Did not realise the place had stairs and the kids bedrooms were downstairs. Fortunately we had teenage kids. The portable washing line was good, but the outdoor one in the carport didn’t work. A dryer would have been helpful to get towels dried.

Summary: We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Walters.
