Summary: I absolutely loved staying here! The ambiance of the pool and garden along with the sounds of the kookaburras each morning was such a beautiful way to wake up. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and helped me with any and all needs. The rooms were spacious and well laid out and made me feel like I had a safe and relaxing space. 10/10 will be coming back here as soon as we can! :)

Summary: The pictures on the website are not up to date. The rooms are dirty- floor and was sticky, filthy ingrained grime on walls and floors. Throw cushions, chairs are heavily soiled with cigarette burns. The room had an excessive smell of bleach- like it was just sprayed yet not cleaned. The spa house and pool area was extremely dirty and un-maintained. The terrace screen door broken and unlockable. The crockery and cutlery uncleaned and still have food/ drink from the last guests. The furniture had mould growing in the wires, and under bed was beyond filthy. The amenities and rooms are extremely tired and not maintained.

Summary: Ballina Beach Resort is well located, being near the beach, a few minutes drive from town, yet in a quiet neighbourhood away from the main road. There was good off street parking close to the units which were spacious and comfortable. While, as previous guests have remarked, some of the fixtures were a little dated, the unit was very clean with some nice touches such as the quality toiletries. Staff were welcoming of minor maintenance reports, and grounds and cleaning staff were respectful regarding starting times and noise levels. It's rare to find a place with such a huge indoor spa and sauna for a warm soak. The grounds and pool were pleasant with plenty of options for casual relaxing. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn't operating - at least for breakfast, though there is an abundance of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. All the staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful throughout. All in all they seemed to care about the details it takes to provide guests with a positive experience.
