Positive: Beautiful location although much of the historic area seems boarded up and vacant.

Negative: An unusual experience. I actually never saw anyone while on the property. It was self check in and I never saw hosts or any guests. It may be obvious to others but this has very dated decor, which felt a bit unclean with some creepiness. I think it’s by design, but the decor included oddities like old doll heads and elves inside drinkware. Maybe this is to add to the lore of being haunted (I learned after my stay) but it wasn’t my thing. There were people in the garage making a lot of noise, sounded like fighting, in the evenings.

Positive: Private nice sized ones room apartment, perfect for the the of us. Maybe I missed it in the original post but there was an extra bed in the living area so technically could sleep. :00 I thought I would have to sleep on a couch. Nice that there were some snacks and breakfast cereals and bars on hand for the morning to grab as well.

Negative: The laundry room is located in the lower part of the carriage House right under the apartment. We were trying to go to bed early because we had to get up early and people were doing laundry well past 10:00 banging the doors of the washer and dryer and such as well as you're on top of a garage. The ice cream truck along with whoever had access to the garage got home about 9:30 which woke us up original.
