Villa Talia Vashti is a Laid-Back fully-serviced private villa situated right on the southern shore of the tropical island paradise of Bali, close to the resort of Candidasa, with wonderful ocean views to Nusa Penida and Lombok Islands. The villa comfortably accommodates 6 adults (plus up to two small children) in three spacious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, balcony lounge area and views of the ocean.
Villa Talia Vashti is only a few minute's walk away from the traditional village of Mendira, with the bars and restaurants and the white sands of the beach Beach (or about 150m to swim/snorkel).
Directly in front of the villa around 100m offshore is a coral reef, which not only provides shelter from the big waves that roll in from the open ocean, but also means that snorkeling and swimming conditions in front of the villa are ideal for children and adults alike.

BEDROOMS
Upstairs Main Bedroom - With king-size / Double bed, ensuite bathroom (with bath) and ocean view. Occupying the whole top floor, the main bedroom also has a separate dressing room/office and an outdoor lounge area. Offering perfect privacy and wonderful views.
Downstairs Twin Bedroom (can be converted to a double bed if needed) - Two twin beds, ensuite bathroom (with bath and separate shower) ocean view.
Downstairs Double Bedroom - King-size / Double bed, ensuite bathroom (with bath and separate shower) ocean view.
Please note: The standard villa nightly rate is based on the use of 3 bedrooms and maximum six adults, however there is an option for two extra beds (suitable for children/teenagers only) in an annex from the main bedroom. This annex can accommodate up to two extra beds, and guests staying here would share the bathroom in the main bedroom. Alternatively an extra bed can also be added to any bedroom upon request. Extra charges apply for extra beds/bedroom.
Villa Talia Vashti is a great villa for kids, with a raised beach area for them to play, and a shallower kids pool as well. Free babysitting/child-minding service can be provided by our staff (subject to availability).
There is no pool fence around the pools and the pond, and there is a drop of about 2m from the raised beach to the sea, so children would need to be supervised.
Villa Talia Vashti has a supreme oceanfront location, allowing seclusion and privacy for guests for guests wanting to relax. However, if you want to explore with Mendira beach within walking distance and Candidasa just a couple of minute's drive away, you have an ideal location to explore the island.

Summary: We had a lovely relaxing holiday. We wanted to swim snorkelling read and relax with minimal site seeing. This place was perfect for that! Great local restaurants within walking distance or a quick taxi ride the coral reef directly out front was perfect for viewing turtles, seahorses, colourful coral and all manner of fish

Summary: Villa Talia Vashti is truly a gem. The house and location are gorgeous. The staff was warm, welcoming, unobtrusive, and so helpful. We stayed there with two other couples for a week of diving. The house works very well for three couples. The location was quiet with a small town with restaurants a short walk away. I hope I get the chance to return.

Summary: We stayed at Villa Talia Vashti for the last 6 days of our vacation in Bali. From the moment we walked into the villa we were awestruck with the beautiful view. I personally loved the layout of the villa, with separate bedrooms and a large communal area. The house is very clean. The villa provides a very serene environment perfect for relaxation. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom in the second level, overseeing the sea and it was wonderful and so peaceful to sleep to the sound of the waves. The staff was very professional, yet very caring and kind. We ate most of the meals in the villa (breakfast and dinner) and I think everyone in the family agreed that they were delicious with nothing to envy to the restaurants out in town. Also, the prices were great. We always felt like we were very well taken care of and have nothing but praises for all of the staff. Thank you all for being so wonderful and taking care of us. We loved the pool, especially our 6 year old son. We had no issues or concerns with safety, although I can see how parents of younger children may be a little worrisome and may fear their child falling over the edge of the man made beach area. Snorkeling was fun in the afternoons (when we were home), the water was calm during this time, more so than in the morning. Not many fish to see, but still fun. I always enjoy swimming in clear waters. Komang was our driver and he was excellent. He drove our family around the island and was always very patient waiting for us while we explored. Highly recommend White Sands Beach and trekking up the Batur Volcano. My husband, sister, son and I decided to do this activity and despite how early we woke up and how streneous it was, it was so worth it for the beautiful sunrise. I do not recommend if you have any issues climbing or walking long distances (my parents did not accompany us on this and it was a wise decision). Thank you Tom, Rene and all of your staff for an amazing stay and experience. It was a little piece of heaven on earth. We look forward to visiting again one day.

Summary: Absolutely AWESOME villa! Loved it! I am so happy I was able to find it. Close to everything we needed :diving (saw Manta Rays and... MOLA MOLA!!!), restaurants. LOOOOVED swimming right of the property. Breakfasts in the open living rooms were amazing thing to start our days. Beds are comfortable and having the a/c in every bedroom was soooooo nice!!!! Only one thing I regret... I wish we could stay longer. DEFINITELY!! DEFINITELY coming back!!! And Rene, the owner was beyond imagination responsive and helpful!! Thank you very much!!!

Summary: Where to start with the beautiful Talia Vishti villa. We were greeted by Ketut, the villa manager, and he and his team made us feel like visiting royalty the whole 6 days. The staff quickly accommodated our early morning requests from our 2 year old and delighted us with toys for her without even asking. The bountiful breakfast was always delicious and the seafood BBQ was divine. We wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday to unplug and chill and we got so much more. Make sure you have a sunset drink down the road at the big hotel and discover the nearby beaches. Thanks for the perfect Bali holiday!

Summary: The Villa Talia Vashti was the perfect last minute pick for a few of us to get away for some days in Bali. The staff was perfect at catering to our desires for food(and great cooks!), and also respected our desire for privacy and relaxation. Ketut was instrumental in scheduling outings to town, the mountains, Ubud, and airport transfers. There is really nothing you need to worry about while you are here. Emails, and arrangements were answered promptly by the owners. The Villa feels both relaxing and comfortable, and is furnished in deluxe Balinese style. We would come back at any time, and recommend this property to anyone. Though the snorkeling is good from shore, the snorkel gear at the Villa is getting a bit dated, if a guest were to bring their own it would be a great way to spend time between other activities. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Summary: We stayed for two nights, and had a fantastic time. The place was clean, the staff were wonderful and the location beautiful, secluded and quiet. I brought my parents to Bali for their first visit, this being the first location we stayed, and they were absolutely blown away by the Villa. It has a wonderful Balinese style, with an open layout and modern comforts that were all kept in excellent condition. Although there is no 'proper' sand beach in front that leads directly to the water, for us it was perfect as we could relax and enjoy the ocean view next to the pool; sunbathe or stay in the shade, then walk through the sand area and down some steps into the water for some amazing snorkelling, which was certainly a highlight for us. On the last night we ordered the seafood bbq, cooked by the staff which was absolutely fantastic, and very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. An extremely relaxing and fulfilling stay, and exactly what we were looking for to experience some oceanside Bali living. Hopefully we can return again! Thanks!
