Positive: Great place with an amazing staff. Really helpful crew who helped us organize small birthday party for one of us and helped repaired our flat tire :) Again, thank you very much, highly appreciated! You can also order great breakfast on site. The neighbourhood was nice and quite. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Positive: My stay at Villa Sunset Forest in Ubud was an incredible escape into nature and calm. Tucked away in a quiet, forested area, the villa offers a true sense of peace and privacy—perfect for those looking to unwind and disconnect from the busyness of everyday life. The architecture and design of the villa are stunning, blending natural materials with elegant, modern touches. Large windows and open spaces bring the outdoors in, and every room feels connected to the lush surroundings. The sunsets here are truly magical—watching the sky change colors over the trees from the comfort of the villa was one of my favorite moments each day. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene, making it ideal for relaxation, yoga, reading, or simply enjoying the sounds of nature. If you’re looking for a beautifully designed, peaceful stay in Bali where you can fully recharge, Villa Sunset Forest is a perfect choice.

Negative: It’s a bit removed from the center of Ubud, which means you’ll need to plan transport if you want to explore the town’s markets, restaurants, and cultural spots—but honestly, the peace and privacy more than make up for the extra distance.

Positive: The villa is nicely done and was literally brand new. We were the 2nd people to stay as mentioned by the host. Attention to detail, the developer has thought of a few things you don't usually consider. The furnishing is nice, bedrooms comfortable, bathrooms clean. As pictured, the property is nicely designed. For the WI-FI conscious people, it was perfect; no issues.

Negative: The biggest disappointment was the host and the management company. Not helpful at all. Saying this nicely the host could do a bit more in regards to personal hygiene; uniform was stained and dirty every day, didn't wash-up the blender very well after the welcome drinks so had ants all over the place. Also very difficult to get a hold off; just didn't bother replying to messages. We asked if they can recommend someone for massages to come to the villa; they said someone can come and do a massage on the sofa. Not really helpful with helping organize or recommend local experiences. We needed an early checking and a late checkout and even though the villa was empty with no prior or next bookings and we were prepared to pay more, the management company didn't even want to hear it. The host even asked that we pay more for check-in post 5pm, even though the villa allows checking up to 8pm. No signs for the villa on the road, so made it impossible to get taxis or delivers for food. Have your own car or bike highly recommended.
