Positive: We were a party of 10 people, 6 adults including 2 seniors and 4 children. One of the seniors, my mom, recently had a knee replacement surgery so had mobility challenges. Given the multigenerational group, we needed a property that was central enough to allow different people to do different things. And that's exactly what we got here. This property is a 2-5 minute walking distance from all the action in Old Town Chania. Splantzia Square itself, where the property is located, has 3 restaurants / bars that packed with locals and tourists alike even beyond midnight each day we were there. Super vibrant! The Venetian Harbor, Lighthouse, Old Port, and all the other neighborhoods within Old Town were walking distance from the property. The property has great amenities. It is a gated property with a digital lock code, and all fenced in, so feels very safe and private. There is a front yard equipped with lounge chairs, that we really enjoyed. Our kids loved using the jacuzzi. There are three bedrooms and three full bathrooms on the first floor, and three bedrooms and 1 full bathroom on the second floor. This allowed us to spread out and the house never felt crowded. The house has a lovely deck with a swinging chair that makes for a nice hangout spot. The kitchen is fully equipped and the main living space is a nice sized open space. All major appliances were functional, and we found the washer and dryer very useful. And we absolutely LOVED our host Peggy. She was super helpful and available whenever we needed her. She lives in the house across from this house, so the proximity helped a lot. She made us fresh "kalitsounia" (traditional Cretan snack food) for breakfast our first morning there. It was such a beautiful gesture! She even procured a small stepping stool that was immensely helpful to my mom for getting in and out of our rented van. Gave us a ton of useful info about the town, and just so authentic and kind.

Negative: Nothing really! The house was truly perfect for our stay in Chania!

Positive: This villa is everything it appears to be and more! Parking pretty easy, location walkable to so much, and villa itself spectacular! Very comfortable for 2 families to share. Easy check in and out. Plus fabulous hospitality! Peggy had tons of breakfast food, fruits, and wine and was available for any questions. I definitely hope to come back!

Positive: The villa is decorated beautifully, with love and attention to details. We loved how the heritage pieces were incorporated into the modern interior. The villa was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the sheets nice and soft. Lucky for us, unlike most other houses, this villa has a nice garden - a perfect relaxation spot! The location is central and close to everything, but very quiet. Probably the best possible location in and around Chania. The villa itself left a lasting impression and it was definitely the best holiday accommodation for us. If you don’t feel like exploring Crete, there is so much to do in the villa! And the garden is absolutely beautiful, we spent most of the time there and it was nice and relaxing. Whenever it’s too hot, you can relax in the jacuzzi for a moment and then go back to the garden to soak in the sun. Peggy and Manolis are probably the best hosts in the world, I do not think that I will ever come accross such great hosts again. Peggy made sure that we have something to eat after our long journey, she was extremely hospitable and friendly all throughout the stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Peggy and Manolis. Peggy advised us on the best restaurants and the best places to buy locally grown produce, dairy and seafood, which definitely enriched our stay. It was a great pleasure to stay there. Peggy and Manolis are lovely and very kind people, they’re like your best friends in Chania. I am very grateful for all that they did to make our stay extra special. If you are still doubting, this villa is definitely the best choice. We enjoyed every moment there. If I’m ever back in Crete, I will definitely come back!
