Summary: The villa Golden Key is the perfect accommodation for large groups. We had 15 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us, with bedrooms to spare. Summary: We had a lovely stay at this villa, the view is truly stunning and the owners are very attentive. We had our wedding here and it is an amazing venue and sleeps lots of people! There are a few things that need attention - -Showers and baths leaking/not draining Loose/missing pool tiles Manhole cover not safe and unsightly Not enough crockery/glasses for the amount of people the villa sleeps. Top roof terrace extremely dirty. Overall we were impressed with our stay but think there are a few things as listed above that would help to improve this villa.

Summary: We had 18 people comfortably spread out in this luxurious villa that overlooks Chania - we cooked, barbequed, swam, watched the sunsets, lounged, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to visit Chania's old town and other interesting places from here, and even arranged pickups for trips to Samaria Gorge and for snorkeling. Sometimes it was a challenge to coordinate keys, but we managed! I wouldn't recommend this for families with small children, but it was perfect for our group of friends with college-aged kids. This place is a gem!

Summary: Overall, our stay at the Golden Key Villas was superb! The house, it’s outdoor areas, great view over Chania and the ocean (the house is on the top of a hill), it’s price, and the owners’ sincere hospitality made our vacation a great success. We were a group of 20 (!) people (couples and friends) who wanted a place to enjoy a summer week together. The Golden Key Villas served perfectly for the purpose with its 11 bedroom and many kitchens and bathrooms. The outdoor area with a big pool and many sun beds kept us at home during the days - we didn’t really see the need to go down to the ocean since we already had such a nice pool area with a beautiful view, conveniently at home! In addition, by arranging the tables into a long table in the outdoor area we created a unparalleled spot for having breakfast/lunch/dinner given the very beautiful view over Chania and the ocean, giving us a romantic sunset every night. The owners (Mr Antonis, Mrs Despina, Mr Giorgos) were tremendously nice and showed first class hospitality. Initially when arriving to the villa, the owners showed us around the entire facility, helped answer all the questions we had, and made sure that we felt at home and at peace with everything. In addition, the owners were always available, and eager, to help; they were quick to reply to any questions over WhatsApp, and two of the owners frequently swung by the facility to keep to the gardens (which didn’t bother us at all since the garden are in an area that you usually don’t hang around) and at those times always made sure to say hello and ask if there was anything they could do to help improve our stay. In conclusion, the property in combination with the hospitality of the owners made this (to me very important) trip for us 20 people a great success and I would gladly recommend any big group to chose this as your travel destination for e.g. a summer vacation week! Summary: We stayed here with 16 adults and 9 Kids. Even with that many People everybody had his privacy due to the four apartments. Our hosts were very helpful and even took us to buy fish. We have nothing to complain about.

Summary: The house was definitely set up for our large family. There were 18 of us and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The house was clean and comfortable. The owners checked on us everyday to make sure things were going well. We had to call them twice because we locked our key in the room and they promptly came by and opened the door for us. There was a power outage due to a storm in the area and they came by and did their best to get some power back on. They apologized a dozen times. It was NOT their fault, but rather an act of nature. We highly recommend renting this beautiful home when vacationing in Crete. We would definitely go back there.
