Our recently refurbished with-an-eye-for-detail little gem, Villa Sol, is a luxurious, accessible villa of 110m², with a private 55m² pool, amazing sea views, a 150m² stone-paved terrace stretching around it and modern facilities, including BBQ and al fresco dining. Located in a prominent position on an impressive 1.3 acres garden, featuring a great variety of trees and flowers, this stylish villa promises a totally laid-back and high-quality accommodation experience.
All facilities on the ground floor – except for the BBQ area – are in compliance with the accessibility guidelines.
WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT VILLA SOL
The villa is situated on an outstanding position, surrounded by nature at its best. We have added a few touches in order to make your stay as careless and relaxed as possible:

Location
Conveniently located at Tsaki, near Benitses village, almost in the middle of the east coast of Corfu, with easy access both to Corfu town and to some of the most beautiful beaches of the southern part of the island
Nearest beach
The nearest beach is the coastline right in front of the villa and it is actually the continuation of Benitses beach. You can either reach it by walking 250m along the main road or you can take a shortcut, which includes walking through an abandoned hotel. It’s a shorter, but more adventurous walk, people will hate it or love it. It is a very long, but narrow beach, with pebbles and natural shadow after 13.00. The sea is clean and usually very calm. It is possible to find a place there to be alone, even in the peak of the season. We love going there, we suggest that you check it on your first day and see if it works for you.
Nearest town
The nearest town, with many bars, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and beaches, is the village of Benitses, at 2km away, a former fishing village and tourist resort, with a beautiful and well-preserved part of the old village that is worth visiting.
Transportation
To get around, hiring cars is one option that will of course give you a lot of independence, especially if exploring as many aspects of the island as possible is on your to-do-list. You may though also find interesting to know that many of our guests choose not to hire cars, as they find it quite convenient to move around by bus. There are two buses that stop just a few footsteps away. The blue bus will take you directly to Benitses and to Corfu town. The green bus will take you to the nearby village of Moraitika and to some of the most beautiful beaches of the southern part of the island. The buses stop by around every 45’. And if you would like to take a different route, you can always get a taxi or rent a car for the day.
Bonus fact
There is a nice restaurant called "Arokaria" just around the corner. They serve a variety of local dishes, they also serve breakfast upon request and they deliver to the villa. The restaurant offers a 10% discount to our guests.

Summary: Our stay here was beyond what I expected. This villa was beautiful and had everything we needed. The gardens surrounding the house are stunning and so peaceful, the pool is a dream, great size and temperature and immaculately clean, there are many beautiful spots for sitting and relaxing - a wonderful upstairs terrace and great outdoor dining area. Extremely quiet at night. Gorgeous internal decor and a really well-equipped kitchen, the house has everything you need and again is pristine. Finally, Vicky is a dream hostess, she was so extremely helpful and friendly. I would return to this villa again in a heartbeat.

Summary: We are very satisfied with our recent stay at Villa Sol, Ionian Garden Villas. The villa is new, clean and modern. We were 2 couples with two children. We enjoyed the pool and having breakfast and dinner at the terrace and the balcony, watching the sea. Easy access to Corfu town and there is a smaller town very close to the villa, where we had lunch two times. We didn’t use the bus, because we had hired cars, but the bus stop is next to the villa. The villa hostess was very helpful and even offered us a late check-out. We would like to visit again!

Summary: We can’t recommend this villa enough! We had the most relaxing, easy-going and comfortable holiday ever. The hosts were very attentive to all of our questions and needs both before we got there and during our stay. All spaces were very clean, the pool and its surroundings are just amazing, the sea view is dreamlike. Transport was super easy too. We chose to not rent cars and just hopped on the buses that stop by to go to Benitses and to Corfu town and to some very nice beaches in the south. We’d love to come back!

Summary: Beautiful stay at Villa Sol, exactly as pictured and described but still exceeded expectations. Plenty of space for family of 4, two children under 12 for which the pool was perfect size (shallow end with deep end of 1.5m). Beds were the most comfortable we’ve stayed in on holiday and the air conditioning offered welcome respite from the August heat. Lovely family-run taverna at the bottom of the hill which provided delivery if you don’t fancy cooking - we didn’t- so also regular visits to Benitses town which is only 4 minutes by car and has wonderful tavernas that cater for all, without being overly touristy. Little bays and beaches within walking distance, most are pebble so if you prefer sandy, take a trip over to the west side of the island - only 30 minutes by car to discover some wondeful spots (recommend Agios Matthias). Vicky our host, was very warm, welcoming and on hand for any questions throughout the stay. Highly recommend, the Villa made our holiday.

Summary: We spent 6 wonderful days in the Villa and really appreciated the place. The house is brand new, very functional, well decorated and welcoming. Perfect for 6 people. The main road is only 200m away but the place is quiet and the outside is really nice with an enclosed garden not overlooked. The location is great, Benitses is a nice village, 30 minutes from Corfu town. Sea is everywhere so you can swim but our prefered spot were on the North and West part of the island. Count 45min to 1h to get there. Finally, Niki and Giorgos were very reactive providing us with games for the kids and always here to help. highly recommended place!
