Positive: Splendid location in the middle of a UNESCO site - short drive to Stari Grad/Jelsa and other beach areas. Incredible how all the mod-cons (air con, tv, hot water etc.. have made it all the way out there - amazing. In a strange way such luxury looks a bit odd out there on its own..! Incredibly peaceful and the BBQ area (Brand New Weber (gas) and built in charcoal grill) was a real bonus. The overall site is quite large and the owners have made a number of seating areas to view the surroundings. Dotted around the gardens there is seating for about 50 (fifty!) (incl. an outside double bed and two single beds). The owners are clearly gardeners and have planted and up kept a wonderful garden with a variety of plants etc. Wifi is excellent if you have older kids/teenagers. There is a real sense of isolation and calmness here - that might not be for everyone but if that's you then this is the place!

Negative: Its not wonderfully clear in the description but this is 2 properties (that are attached - but no adjoining doors). I dont think that the owners would let this out to two separate bookings but if you have a family of 4/5 with younger children then the adults might have to split up between the two buildings (two in one/three in the other) Very minor (considering the remoteness/beauty of the location). In any case the idea is that you are enjoying the outside! 1. De-clutter the inside surfaces/draws/floors etc. 2. Clean white cotton sheets on the beds would make a big difference (the blankets/throws are a bit dated). The mattresses are INSANELY comfortable though!

Summary: Relax by the pool in the middle of stunning scenery. AMAZING!!

Positive: We can imagine better place for our stay. Location is good and property is amazing for group of people. Also, dog found it very interesting as he was unleashed the whole stay.

Negative: We were missing one more sleeping room but there is a sofa with extra mattress.

Positive: What a stunning location and property! Gorgeous villa, wonderful gardens, nice small pool, views of the mountains, and all in a Unesco area: it's a really interesting place and it felt like a luxury to be able to stay there. Oxa was fabulous: super friendly and even picked us up from the supermarket by the ferry port. There was homemade wine and olive oil left for us too. Bear in mind, it's a 10 minute drive down a gravel road to get onto the main road to Stari Grad...but the benefit of this is that it is totally silent at night and no light pollution either. Our favourite beaches on the south coast (Dubovica and Borce) were only 25 minutes away, so it was ideal even with the bumpy road! All in all, a real dreamland.

Positive: This place was a total dreamland! The gardens, pool area, bbq area were lovely. Would love to come back ASAP. Leo and Anna were so helpful with any questions we had. Just some Things to note the villa is quite remote, hot water is solar powered, there’s no lounge area and the pool isn’t heated. We were able to light in indoor fire on cooler evenings in October. It was an amazing unique holiday experience and Thank you so much for having us xx
