Villa Nemo is a sea-facing villa with large terraces, an infinity edge pool, a garden and a large fruit orchard, all to the exclusive use of the guests (the whole house is booked to only one family or group).
Every room faces south and both the master bedroom and the main living area have direct access to the terraces.
The main terrace is shaded by two retractable awnings, perfect for lunches in the sun. Two large bathrooms, one ensuite with the master bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, a flat-screen tv in the main hall and free wifi.
All stairs have child-safe gates and all terraces are fully fenced.
Parking places are within the walls of the villa and accessed through a remote-controlled gate. Slow charging of electric vehicles is possible.
Please note that, being situated on a hill-side, the access to the villa is through a relatively steep road branching from the Via Aurelia. Anyone can make the walk to the beach and back to the house, but it of course requires some light effort on the uphill.

Summary: We loved staying at villa Nemo! We will definitely be back for a longer stay. House, pool, view were outstanding! Walk to and from town was good exercise, as the street to the house was rather steep, but totally doable! Restaurants along the beach walk were wonderful. Property managers were easy to get a hold of and prompt with communication! Thank you Carlo and Gianna!

Summary: The villa is great and it is just like in the pictures. It’s all very clean and the kitchen is well equipped, too. Air conditioning in all rooms made it very convenient inside during the hot days in July. The terrace is big and has stunning sea views. What a great way to start the day with a breakfast al fresco! The large infinity pool with the view was the favorite spot for the children. The sun shining all day made the pool temperature nice and warm, yet refreshing. The beach and several nice restaurants in the village are within the walking distance. The way up to the villa is interesting but we had no problems whatsoever reaching the house by car or on foot. Once up there again you enjoy a very relaxing environment in total privacy. A tip for an activity: there’s a bike rental in Riva Ligure for Pista Ciclabile. For more information, see pistaciclabile.com. The landlady is very friendly, helpful and always available if you have any questions. A humble suggestion: to make it perfect, the equipment for barbecue could be somewhat improved. All in all, Villa Nemo can be highly recommended for a laid back holiday with the family.

Summary: We had a great time at Villa Nemo in Riva Ligure. The property was exactly as advertised. I would even say the house was more spacious than I expected from the photos. Inside it felt like a brand new construction to me with higher end fixtures. Cleanliness was spotless on our arrival. Outside the pool was perfect and the yes view was to die for. The veranda had plenty of shade for us. The steep drive up to house was a daily chore as noted. Even by end we did not find it simple but we managed. For me was the price to pay for privacy and view. Walking to the beach was only a few minutes even though it looked longer from up high. The surrounding of the house were a little different with it being a kind of agricultural hill of green houses and commercial crops. One of the water cisterns has goldfish in it if you can find it. Yes my wife heard the 'frogs singing' though they did not bother me even after she mentioned them a few times. All in it was great find Riva Ligure and I would easily recommend it. Take the road up slow then enjoy the view all day.

Summary: A wonderful house, garden, patio and pool. Well equiped house perfect for your own cooking. A small sleepy villige, mostly Italians speaking just Italian, quite few resturants made our choise to stay mostly att the house easy. A foodshop quite near the house gave us what we needed. The Beach was though ok. Perfect för small Children, but It was a very tough walk to the Centre of the village with the sea since the house is up on a hill. Perhaps it had been easier to drive up and down to the centre but the road was very narrow and didn't invite to that. On the other hand, the location gives the house a view almost to die for. If you are looking för a quiet and calm familyvacation this is the perfect place for you. Calm almost all day but in the night the frogs on the Hills close to the house "sings". The communication with the owner of the house was easy and Nice, always quick reply.

Summary: We have just arrived home and I am missing already the view of The Mediterranean Sea .... The villa is just lovely and the pictures do not really show it at its best. You may see the reviews which mention the approach road which is steep but so worth it as it provides spectacular views and complete privacy, which for us is really important. Carlo couldn't have been more helpful both before and during our stay and even offered advice on best routes as we were driving down through France. The walk to the beach and town was reasonably quick - bit slower on the return, but we found the locals so friendly and they even offered seats at their table so we were able to sit outside and enjoy our drinks. Having booked villas through Home Away for many years I can honestly say that this is the best yet with our friend stating that the acid test is would he come back and all of us replied 'yes we would' - not surprisingly though it appears to be booked up for many months to come. To conclude, a wonderful villa and a great holiday with lovely friends - thank you again Carlo for all of your help and best wishes for the improvements that you have planned, we will be back to check them out!!
