Summary: Casa Agueda is well-situated a very short stroll from the beach in this beautiful small village. You can hear the waves crashing as well as the frogs in the next door banana plantation from the house. Jorge has created some very interesting spaces and the house has numerous stylish interior design features. We found the main rooms a little dark at night so perhaps an upgrade of some of the LEDs is in order. Good quality TV with many satellite channels, mostly German. Jorge responded quickly to our few requests. The village itself is gorgeous. Pictures on the internet don't do it justice. It's right on a rocky beach, with many old (C17th) houses and a wonderful cliff path heading towards Puerto Cruz. There's a tiny supermarket with friendly staff, and all three of the restaurants we tried served excellent fish. We particularly liked the upstairs terrace at La Casa de mi Madre, reached by a semi-rock climb of a stairway. We really enjoyed this area of Tenerife with its lush vegetation, friendly locals (no hassling here, unlike the South) and amazing walks. Would come again, both to this area and to Casa Agueda.

Summary: Just 30 min from TFN airport, and easily accessible off main highway, this beautiful home was a perfect place to stay. Whether you care to self cater or eat out, this place has it all with full kitchen amenities and 4 fantastic restaurants within a few blocks. Home was spacious and very clean. The two sun terraces were hard to leave! Gracious host Jorge H. was readily available, and happy to provide local area information. With 2 bedrooms and a futon, this home sleeps 6 and is a fantastic value for a group. Highly recommend.

Summary: Unusual property over-looking a working banana plantation in a small village. Within walking distance of seafront, local restaurants and useful shop. Also close to the main route around the island so easy for exploring.

Summary: The house suited us perfectly, loved the interesting design and lack of clutter. Especially the top floor kitchen and sun terrace which have a great view of the sea and banana trees, and we spent hours watching the sky and seas change. We didn't use the ground floor as there were only two of us, but it would suit two couples well. Jorge, the owner, made us very welcome and told us everything we needed to know about the area. We appreciated the wine and local goodies. The weather was very mixed, but the walks in the mountains were fantastic. We will definitely be back I hope

Summary: Three mature women stayed for one week and completely fell in love with our barrio-Las Aguas. We tried all the restaurants, which were excellent, swam in the lava pool at San Juan de la Rambla, made friends with the dog next door-Darko-and threw rocks from the beach into the sea. The house is more than we could have imagined.....the kitchen and terrace are the crowning jewels. Lovely and relaxing. Hiked Barranco Ruiz, shopped at El Roque, the minimarket and learned a lot of history from Jose Angel, the owner.
