Positive: The location was ideal for us as we enjoyed the 15 minute walk into the Old Town and the villa is in a quiet residential area. We were there with our adult children and partners and having a bathroom each was brilliant. We also enjoyed the generous space of the accommodation and multiple dining and sitting areas. The bbq was great and as we had hot weather, the dip pool was most welcome. Telmo was very attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful.

Summary: It was an amazing place to celebrate being together with our family. Telmo was extremely helpful.

Positive: Everything. It was spacious and very clean when we arrived. Telmo was there to welcome us and he gave us lots of tips/information. Nothing was too much trouble and he kept in regular contact during our stay, including the correct bus to get to the football stadium with a picture of the bus stop. Lovely bedrooms and facilities for cooking and a BBQ. Lots of areas to relax in. The pool was great for cooling off. Quiet location with a bus to the centre 5 minutes walk away. Supermarkets within easy reach. The old town of Gros was near by and the Playa La Zurriola. The main beach Playa de La Concha was 30 minute walk away.

Positive: Telmo was kind enough to accommodate one of our friends who arrive at 8am in the morning and give him the keys to enter the house even though it was before check-in time. He was extremely responsive throughout the whole process (pre-arrival to check-out) and it was a pleasure to stay in this house not only because it has great facilities but also because Telmo is such a great host.

Positive: From the moment we booked Villa Alaia, we knew we'd made the right decision. We made the booking to celebrate a 50th birthday, and went with four couples, so wanted the experience to be special. Our host, Telmo, was proactive and helpful and made some brilliant recommendations, including a wonderful restaurant. The house itself was in a great location within the Gros neighbourhood, with lots of bars, shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. That meant we didn't need to use the car we'd hired to drive over from Biarritz for the whole trip, making for a relaxing stay. The photos don't do the house justice - it's light, airy and has beautiful decor, with no fewer than six bathrooms. That meant there was more than enough space for the eight of us, and the kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The master suite at the top of the house was particularly impressive and all bedrooms had wonderful views across San Sebastian. A few of our guests made use of the dip pool and the great weather meant we could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. Throughout, Telmo was very attentive and thoughtful. He greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. and was in regular contact throughout the weekend to check if we needed anything. I would recommend this villa without any hesitation - it offers great value for money, is in a fabulous location, and is stylish and spacious. We're already trying to find an excuse to come back!
