Positive: The main floor (2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room/kitchen) was very pretty, the kitchen well-stocked, and the view spectacular. There were 3 parking spaces available for us. The bedrooms on the main floor were gorgeous but the wooden blinds were closed (and inaccessible given the mosquito screens between) so we couldn't enjoy the view from the bedrooms). (It's to avoid the heat and it was explained to us up front by the lovely and responsive host.)

Negative: The main issue for us was that the main floor has only 2 bedrooms and there is an apartment underneath with 2 bedrooms so our kids had to go to a separate apartment (which is nowhere near as nice as the main floor - it's dark and does not have AC and seems more an afterthought floor). They were a bit nervous to sleep there for half of our stay. It was quite expensive for being divided like this. The main floor bathroom has a strong sulfur odor each time the toilet is flushed (none of the other 4 bathrooms have this problem between the main floor and apartment beneath. This has nothing to do with the house itself but while the beach is walkable, you won't want to go to the walkable beach more than once or twice during a week - there are many better beaches within a short drive so it might not be worth spending so much on a place unless you intend to really be here a lot of the time.
