Positive: You can tell that the owners of this gorgeous and impeccably clean and neat guesthouse love this place. It is a respite from the busy city below and a little oasis in the remarkable and historic city of Coimbra. We would stay here again and again and…because of our gracious and humble hosts, the lush jardim on both sides of the house, and the convenience of a pastelaria, small grocery store, and lavanderia nearby.

Positive: Everything was immaculate. It’s hard to believe what the building looked like before they renovated it. Sonia and Jonah were incredibly welcoming and very helpful.

Negative: I think the one thing I would change is having some sort of rugs, carpets, runners, etc. in the hallway, as it can get pretty echoey with people coming and going.

Positive: Nicely renovated property with awesome hosts, Jonah and Sonia. They were gracious and spent time getting to know us and giving us so much information about Coimbra’s sites, restaurants, and history. Just a short jaunt down from their property to the center of the city. Highly recommended..
