Positive: We loved our stay! Victor and Helena are wonderful hosts, with the rare and perfect balance of always being there when you need them or with little treats but never intrusive! The Quinta is beautiful, a true oasis, with attention to every detail, including the breakfast area and the pool area. The breakfasts are prepared by Helena using local products and are excellent. We stayed in the annexe and had a great time, clean, comfortable and with just the right amount of privacy. The hosts were concerned that we might be a bit annoyed by the noise because the motorway is nearby but honestly, it is not a problem at all and they do provide earplugs if you need them. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights, we would have gladly stayed longer!

Positive: The cottage was beautifully appointed in period furnishings. The organic, fabulous breakfast including bread and jams made by Helena were over the top. The gorgeous dining room with elaborate table setting made us feel like royalty:) The extras…wine, port, sweets, fruit, were all bonuses we had not anticipated. The tour of the orchard and gardens was delightful!
