Positive: Staff was extremely friendly upon arrival and departure, called out to us as we were leaving to wish us safe travels home. Accommodations were clean, and comfortable, and just overall a cool place to stay.

Negative: I can’t think of anything. Exceeded expectations.

Positive: We loved the unique Viking-style atmosphere, it really feels like stepping into another time. The cabin was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a perfect spot to disconnect, relax, and enjoy something truly different from the usual hotels.

Negative: the only thing that would make the experience even better would be having a private BBQ grill and a small fire pit for each cabin, right next to it… but overall the shared bbq and fire pit areas were nice to use..

Summary: A peaceful and unique getaway with a lot of charm — we’d happily return.

Positive: My husband and I loved the Viking Village. It was so realistic to what a viking village would look like. All the attention to details was great. The towers at the gate, the main lodge and the chalets were incredible wiith the thatched roofs and the large deck.. Inside, the cabin was immaculate, it was beautiful and very modern and comfortable. I loved the kitchen, and the fully tiled spa like bathroom . One of the best features was the location, so quiet and peaceful even though it was off the beaten. path but close to Brattleboro, We will definitely stay at the Viking Village the next time we visit Vermont.

Negative: It would have been nice if the Village had a few activities. Maybe a pool.

Positive: Absolutely incredible grounds. Cabins are so cozy and comfortable. So clean. Very well decorated with beautiful touches. Felt like a whole different world outside. Absolutely loved the sheep.
