Summary: Had a wonderful stay. Great room with a beautiful view of the mountains. And we absolutely loved that every room had a record player with historic records to play and enjoy - what a cool feature!

Summary: The vintage property is well maintained. The staff was friendly and informative. Room was comfy and clean. Loved listening to records in our room, and a great selection can be found on each floor. Worth the stay. Would most definitely stay again should I find myself in the area again.

Summary: The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the room itself felt a bit dirty and could have used a more thorough cleaning. The shower also clogged easily, which made it inconvenient to use. On top of that, the room had a slightly eerie, almost haunted feeling to it. Overall, while the staff was lovely, the room could definitely use some improvements.

Summary: A hotel with great character! The theater downstairs is amazing and catching a movie there is a must. The downside to this hotel is you cannot control heat or cooling. We stayed in October and even though it was mild weather, our room was so hot. The fans provided helped a bit but it was uncomfortable. If you’re traveling in the summer, I would be wary of staying here.

Summary: What a unique hotel! If you love vintage everything and downtown living, this is your spot. There have been thoughtful updates to the property for functionality and comfort, but many details of the property were kept intact for period charm. Some features are older (plumbing, bath fixtures, door hardware), but furniture was stylish and comfortable. Loved the records! A nice change to listen to music instead of TV.

Summary: This hotel is a great representation of a niche throw back. Record players in the room. Stacks of records in the hall to enjoy. The lobby is beautiful and they are attached to the movie theatre, which is old school and beautiful to witness. The hotel is in a TERRIBLE AREA and in fact Brattleboro, VT has an extremely large homeless and drug population. I truly feel for the business’ in the town. No foot traffic. We didn’t see one police vehicle at all. Multiple people told us to keep our wits about us if walking at night. The restaurants that we did visit have lovely people and are friendly but the places to see are not worth a visit to this sad town. It’s truly unfortunate too. You have this idea of small town in New England with shops and mom and pop places to eat and this had almost NONE of that.

Summary: Considering the age of the property, this is a great stay! The staff was super helpful upon arrival, helping with check-in, parking and directions. The proximity to shops and restaurants is amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. I love that there were extra fans in the room to account for the lack of AC. Definitely still stay again!
