This stunning example of Victorian architecture is the perfect combination of classic charm and modern functionality. Picturesque gardens, beautiful lace-work and a front veranda with views of the mountain ranges.
Children & Dog friendly.
Modern luxuries include reverse cycle heater/aircon in all 3 bedrooms and living area, coffee machine, dishwasher 2 x smart TV’s & broadband internet.
There’s a spacious, recently renovated central bathroom, complete with a freestanding claw-footed bath and separate shower.
At the rear of the home is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with bi-fold doors opening out onto a large undercover entertaining space and extensive, lush garden.
There are several really fabulous places to eat & drink within walking distance. My favourites are:
The middle pub does the best pub food in the area.
The best coffee in town can be be found at The Borough Dept Store.
If you like Indian food, Diva’s is excellent.
The town is a short 5 minute walk away.
Walk, cycle or ride The Great Southern Rail Trail which extends from Leongatha to Toora (75km). The mostly flat or gently undulating trail goes through lush dairy farmland, areas of remnant bush and lowland scrub. It climbs from the foothills of Fish Creek up past Mount Hoddle and then down a steep descent through dense forest out into magnificent views of Wilsons Promontory and Corner Inlet.
Also in walking distance, is a bulk billing doctor, IGA, BP service station, 2 pubs and a good range of restaurants and cafes including the exceptionally good Borough Dept Store which has the best food and coffee in town!

Summary: We had an amazing time staying here. The house was beautifully presented and clean (especially considering it's dog friendly). The owners were very welcoming and helpful. It's in a great spot just a short walk to the high street. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Summary: We had a relaxing 3 night getaway with or dog. Lovely well appointed home a short walk to the main street. Kellies communication was spot on and everything was as promised. Nice shady rear garden and spacious deck. Thoroughly commend staying here.

Summary: The location was great, not far to Phillip Island, Mornington Peninsula and also Wilson’s Prom. Beautiful scenery everywhere. The inside of the house was okay but the outside (BBQ, heater,dryer and deck area) was dirty and rundown. Our dog loved the house, the fenced in yard and would give her holiday 5 stars.
