This magnificent Country Estate is located on 13 acres near Victoria Airport and Ferry Services both Washington State and Vancouver, British Columbia. 20 minute drive to Butchart Gardens or the City of Victoria. We accept 30 day bookings or greater.
The property is best known for its well maintained flower gardens, comfortable blend of cultivated & natural landscaping spread over rural farmland.
We welcome our guests to visit our floral studio and growing area for a tour.

Summary: 15 family members together had an incredible experience at Victoria Garden Estate to celebrate our 50th anniversary! Lovely private space, pool and hot tub kept most adults and kids delighted, from ages 2 1/2 to 40 yrs. plus! Perfect very spacious home for cooking meals…outdoors for playing games, relaxing poolside, or listening to the owls and watching deer graze the property surrounded by beautiful trees, away from the busyness of life. Great for sisters who joined us to indulge in the country life! Many places to go and explore and for every age! Bedrooms were plenty and very comfy beds. There was no lack of room for all to enjoy together or a little privacy if desired. Louise and Bob you absolutely made our stay special and helpful in so many ways, we are so grateful to you! A month to remember, thank you so very much! We’d do it again!

Summary: We had such a great time. House was convenient to the ferry, airport and several awesome pubs 😎. We used the pool almost daily, really enjoyed the deer that visited almost every evening.

Summary: House and yard were well maintained. Perfect location!! Close to an international airport and only minutes from ferry terminal. There are numerous activities for people of all ages to do including an amazing swimming pool and a great hot tub and table games. This property was an excellent venue for our family vacation and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Summary: Great place for a family vacation. Eleven of us including 3 children loved the beautiful pool and hot tub. There are toys and books for the kids too. Convenient location to see the area and we came to really enjoy the cute little town of Sydney. Kitchen was well equipped and we used it each night for family dinners. Owners were very responsive to our requests. Everything worked and that is no small thing! We would definitely recommend.

Summary: Our family is spread across western Canada so it is hard to gather as a group. This unique house allowed us to totally enjoy time together for everyone from age 12 to 85. Adults cooked and visited in the huge kitchen area and living room/TV area while the younger generation loved the hot tub. Highlight on the first evening was seeing four deer prancing across the back yard. For a large group it is ideal.

Summary: We had a wonderful experience. The place was perfect for team building and bringing the team closer together. We cooked meals in the big kitchen and had many laughs in the living rooms. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a house to rent for a big group or big family.

Summary: Victoria Gardens is a perfect place for a family reunion. The beautiful home is spacious and provides multiple spaces and amenities for family members to enjoy themselves. We had a great time with our dear 87 yr old mother who just beamed with happiness! We were lucky that the warm weather at the end of September allowed the use of the pool as it added great enjoyment for our little ones.

Summary: We met Louise on the first morning and she took us for a tour to learn the ins and outs of the estate. The house is very big and easily slept 15 of us. The beds are actually pretty comfy and had good quality bedding. We used the pool and hot tub a fair bit and both were good. We also used the games room a lot. The Internet speed was great (if you need it), we even streamed 4k one night with no lag at all. We had a full Thanksgiving dinner, utilizing the stove and BBQ, both worked great. We didn't bring any cookware with us and had no issues, as everything we needed was supplied. One small issue we had were the wall plugs. As it is an older house, the outlets have been well used, so when you plug things in, they feel loose and sometimes fall out of the outlet. All in all though, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend.

Summary: Ideal spot for our family of 18. The house had plenty of space and was well equipped and the grounds, pool and hot tub were very much enjoyed by us all. Surrounding area had great beaches, hiking and activities for the whole family. Great holiday.
