Whether you're a family, friends adventuring together, or a couple seeking a romantic getaway, the Vessel Beach House is pure magic! Cozy up and watch the weather roll in, spot seal lions or whales spouting right from bed, or soak up the sounds of the ocean.
On the Starboard side, this two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom property with full kitchen, sauna, laundry, and expansive deck with panoramic views is the perfect beachfront oasis. The master bedroom features a California King, working desk area, walk-in closet and amazing views of Resurrection Bay. Down the hall is a full bathroom featuring a wet, walk-in shower and a second bedroom with a queen bed and a convertible day bed sleeper that can be transitioned into two twin mattresses or joined to make a king. On the main floor, enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, living and dining area, washer/dryer and a half bath with a sauna. The large deck invites you to watch for whales breaching in the distance or playful otters frolicking in the bay.
Lowell Point is within easy reach of all the action - hiking trails, kayaking adventures, or boat tours departing from Seward. During the day, explore the wonders right at your doorstep. Beach comb for unique treasures, kayak through the crystal-clear waters, or go for a hike and spot eagles soaring overhead. Located beachfront and steps away from the Caines head State Recreation area, this newly available property is your perfect stay in Seward.
This property is on a water-catchment and septic system. We appreciate your mindfulness for use of water and flushing only items that go through you and toilet paper. Due to the windows, the property can get very warm in the sun. We do not have AC in Alaska, so we encourage you to open the windows to cool and enjoy the fresh air.
The Vessel Beach House is located just 2 miles outside of downtown Seward in the seaside community of Lowell Point. You will need a vehicle to get around and to the home from Seward. Taxis are typically readily available. We highly recommend a car. Seward is a 2-3 hour scenic drive from Anchorage or you can take the Alaska Railroad to/from Seward for a scenic 4 hour journey.
Guests have access to the entire home. One parking space is available for you. Beach is public access. This home was one property at one point, but has been converted into a duplex. You may hear guests on the Port side while on the deck or meet them in the driveway coming and going.

Summary: I can’t think of a more idyllic location and space in Seward than this home. My wife, 2yr old daughter and my in laws were there to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. Beautiful and interesting interior space, deck over looking resurrection bay, and down the steps to the beach during low tide. We had an incredible time!!

Summary: You just can’t beat the view! We live on the coast in Florida where we can see dolphins play from our windows, but it just doesn’t compare to this view! To top it off, we were welcomed with a basket of amazing goodies! The home was very cleaned, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We loved our stay and wish we had planned to stay longer.

Summary: We stayed at the Vessel Beach House for two nights. The beach house is located on Resurrection Bay with a beautiful view of the Kenai Fjords area. Very peaceful time watching otters, eagles, kayaks, boats, cruise ships from the deck. We only cooked breakfast there but the house is equipped with everything you need to prepare all your meals. Wi-Fi is available but you'll need a streaming service to watch tv. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Summary: My husband and adult daughter and I had a delightful stay. The view was beyond expectations. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching dozens of otters floating by. Very peaceful but just a ten minute drive into town. We also loved walking to the Millers Landing cafe for breakfast and a glass of wine at night. Highly recommend!
