Positive: Anna the manager of the facility is great, very helpful, polite and kind. The rooms were large and the space well managed.

Negative: The bed was ok, whilst I like a hard bed, it was quite hard and with a very firm pillow. Unfortunately during my stay the pool was half full so I could not have a refreshing swim after a days tourism. There is a local club that is quite loud that runs to between 11pm to 1am. You can out ear plugs in but it was quite disruptive if you don’t want to get involved in the night life. I suggest double glazed windows on the side of the club.

Summary: Anna is great, location is very central, big rooms, just manage the sound and have some more pillow!

Positive: The staff were just amazing and couldn't do enough for you. Organised all my trips and onward journey. Anna is a real treasure and makes you feel very welcome. Location is good. Not much noise at night. Comfortable bed and good A/C. Breakfast is good too.

Negative: Would've loved a hot shower, but the cold at least woke me up!

Positive: The Global Hostel isn’t the fanciest place you’ll ever stay - it’s a bit rough round the edges, it could do with a little bit of TLC and modernising, but it’s clean and spacious, my bed was super comfy. The main attraction here though is Anna - there is a reason why she is constantly mentioned in the reviews and that is because she is the sweetest, kindest most helpful person I’ve ever met. Anna genuinely loves her job, and nothing is too much trouble for her, she will go above and beyond to plan and make your stay in Vang Vieng amazing. The Global Hostel is in a central location, close to the main hub of bars and restaurants, and the included breakfast is pretty decent, there’s a number of options and it’s nice to start your day sat round the pool talking to other guests. Big love to Anna, her brother Peter and the rest of the staff for a brilliant stay, I had an amazing time, thank you for everything 🩷

Positive: Anna was an amazing host and helped us plan our stay perfectly. Often sorting out Tuk Tuks and activities very last minute, including a hot air balloon ride with Above Laos which was spectacular. The room was spacious and clean with a good shower and comfortable beds.

Positive: Anna was a great host, super sweet and very helpful. She helped us organise trips and plan excursions. The room was spacious and had everything you’d need.

Negative: The door was split and had duck tape covering the holes but it was falling off. So you could see into the room from outside.
