Summary: The bed was uncomfortable and the shower was very small and limited in the temperature (not hot enough). The staff were amazing and very helpful, and the location and view were great.

Summary: No human contact for check-in. Discovered that cottages aren’t private, contain two guest rooms. To find correct room you have to open exterior door and there are several other cabins/cottages in the area. Walls were paper thin. Could hear everything. Might as well have been sharing a tent with the neighbors. Picked this place because I thought it was affordable. Do not recommend. Would stay somewhere else next time.

Summary: Vik is a very small town. The only upscale hotel is Vik ì Mýrdal. Cottages are owned by them. 2 rooms per cottage. Bathroom is extremely small esp the shower. Minimal convenience in the room. But comfortable overall.

Summary: The rooms are soooo small and the bathroom is really odd. Probably here only for a quick short time so not a huge issue. It is quite odd though to the right of you is a whole area where the campers park so it feels like you are staying in a trailer park when you look outside. But it was clean and simple. Only one tiny window opens so if it is a warm day it is quite warm in the room.
