Positive: The place was in a great location, everything was nearby, and there was free parking. The room itself was clean and cozy.

Negative: We had issues with the Wi-Fi during our entire stay. After calling reception, they fixed it temporarily, but later it stopped working again. Also, the cottage was shared with another room, and we could hear everything — the shower running, people talking, and so on. There was also a strange noise coming from the bathroom ventilation, which was a bit annoying.

Summary: Good location to stay, but keep in mind that you will probably hear your neighbours

Positive: The location is so close to Vik, walking distance to the shops. The room was adequate for one night, everything was neat and clean and we had our own bathroom, which in Iceland is like a bonus!

Negative: We were unable to check-in online as requested to via message. We had to ring the property to find out how to pick up a key to access our cottage. As we did not have an Iceland SIM card or roaming it took a bit of hassle to be able to contact via phone. Once we were advised of the process it was easy to collect our keys.
