Located in an exclusive gated community along the Pacific Coast Highway, this upstairs apartment has 2-bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The house sits about 20 feet above sea level and provides you with a front row view of the Pacific Ocean from the 2nd floor.
There is no access to the beach from the house. Access to the beach is a 5min. walk (.2miles) to Capistrano Beach Park. Please do not trespass on the neighbor's property to access the beach,
This private community is conveniently located between Dana Point Harbor and the charming community of San Clemente. Quick access to numerous restaurants, shops, water sport activities and southern California theme parks makes this an ideal location for you and your guests.
This apartment has a well-equipped kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils and appliances necessary to prepare your own meals, as well as a convenient BBQ grill on the spacious patio. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a spacious closet. The second bedroom is conveniently equipped with 2 bunk beds that can sleep up to 4 people. Bed linens and bath towels are also supplied as well as a fully supplied shared washer/dryer. In addition, the comfortable living area is equipped with a TV, cable, phone and internet service to make your stay more convenient and enjoyable. The dining area seats up to 6 people and provides a perfect spot to view the ocean and enjoy the famous Southern California ocean breeze.

Summary: The apartment was so amazing and the ocean view was magnificent. The kitchen was well equipped. Patio furniture to enjoy the riar of the ocean, we slept listening the it. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: We had a great time during our week long stay in this beautiful rental. Everything we needed was supplied, the beach was close, and communication with the owner was simple and quick. We will not hesitate to stay again on future visits to the area.

Summary: The main reason for us to stay at the beach house was because we wanted direct access to the beach. Unfortunately, the description does not mention that this unit has no access to the beach. This alone was very disappointing to us, considering the price of the property. It also did not mention that there is a construction site directly next to the house, causing a lot of noise and a detour to the public access to the beach. In addition, there are train tracks directly behind the house, also not mentioned in the description. The trains are very loud and disruptive, sometimes shaking the entire house. Other than that, the property was very clean and included everything we needed. Communication and access of the property was easy.

Summary: The property is in a prime location in Dana Point and is close to everything that you will need for a great trip. We stayed for a week and enjoyed each day! The surf was high the week we were there so beach access and swimming were limited but we enjoyed the small enclave just a few houses down. The condo has all the amenities and Cathy responded to my messages immediatley. We will definitely rent this place again! Thank you for a great trip!

Summary: Though this house is gorgeous, it was not the house for us. I wish the reviews & the description accurately stated what all guests should know: there is no beach access from this house or a true beach view. There is also a ton of construction on the beach nearby which makes it have zero beach access. We had to drive to go to the beach which was the whole point of this trip. I would have liked to know ahead of time about all of this. I feel the owner/property manager should relay this information on their description. I wanted to walk out of the house & get to the beach in just a few steps which you cannot do. The tide is so high where this house is, that it is impossible to do so even if you walk a bit down, you cannot sit on this beach. You cannot even walk on this beach due to the tide. The train behind the house is horrendous. You cannot have the bedroom windows open if you want to attempt to sleep. The bedrooms face the street, & with the train, traffic, trash man & people walking/running; it is SO loud. For us, these things made the trip unpleasant & we would not go back. If you want to be AT the beach & not ON the beach, then this will be fine for you but going to a beach house for us means being on the beach which this description alluded to would happen. I also was disappointed when we ran out of TP, there was none left in the house anywhere for us & the PM said it was locked up, she had to be the one to bring it. With a family of 4, there should have been a couple of rolls under the sink. When we arrived, the current roll was gone after one restroom visit. The only roll under the sink was put on & used by our last morning but that doesn't mean we wouldn't be using the RR before checking out; was told to use kleenex. There is also no true beach view from the 2nd story house. The house is set so far back, all you see is the roof of the bottom house and that is about it. Another disappointment. The PM was staying at the house below so we did not feel comfortable using the main deck and that was unfortunate since it seemed so pretty. I think there needs to be better communication of what this place really is like. Though the kitchen was fully stocked with things to use like pots, plates, silverwear; you need to come with all of your own spices, cooking spray, etc. There is not one thing there except salt. I appreciate when a house has at least the basics. We paid so much money for this place and sadly we were incredibly disappointed.
