Positive: Quiet location. Pleasant room with view of garden and sea. A good spot for walking along the coastal path in both directions.

Negative: A restaurant within walking distance- although the nearest one was only 1 mile away, it was uphill, with no footpath and dangerous in a dark October evening.

Positive: Very nice proprietor. She told me about sunrise swimming in the bay and a beautiful walk. The room was spacious enough for just me, with a useful table so I could paint. Generous breakfast supplied for the first morning.

Negative: It was self catering but the shallow sink arrangement was a little odd, with a small plastic pipe coming from the tap, which kept falling off.

Negative: As above. But we didn’t research location as well as perhaps we should have.

Positive: Lovely view from Seaview Apartment's big balcony with table and seating. Clean and modern with most self-catering equipment needed. Nice shared pool. System worked well with one family using at a time. Great being close to walks and Bouley bay for paddle boarding. Enjoyed the Durrell zoo, Jersey war tunnels and The Battle of the Flowers in St Helier. Beautiful beaches and countryside everywhere and very clean and mostly litter-free. Went to Trinity arms for excellent food and the Trinity stores was useful too. Mostly shopped at Co-op, which was a short drive away. Good washing machine, tumble dryer and airer. Nespresso machine was a bonus. Staff were friendly and responsive and dealt with issues / queries promptly.

Negative: There was no fish slice / spatula. Could have done with more crockery, as there was a dishwasher.

Summary: Beautiful location and accommodation.

Positive: Really nice character house with updated rooms. Mine was upgraded to a junior suite which had pretty much full kitchen facilities, separate bedroom, couch on lounge with tv's in both areas. The hosts are lovely and welcoming and leave enough food for breakfast but lasted us the whole 4 days we were there inc an omelette for dinner one evening. Lovely spot out a Bouley Bay with buses that will drop you off at the door.

Negative: Having to leave!
