Positive: I loved everything about the stay! We had a private entrance through the homeowners garden. The bed was comfortable and everything inside was extremely clean and neat. The host went above and beyond providing little snacks and she was so kind when we bumped into her at the vineyard nearby. The pictures of the room are exactly what it looked like. This will be my go to spot when I get to come back and visit.

Summary: The Guest Room at Champs cottage was amazing and the couple hosting was even better!

Positive: Jenny and Adam offered total comfort and first-rate hospitality. Every detail was considered. For example, the property is dog-friendly but (unlike in other places) extra amenities were provided to support this, such as a dog blanket, bowls, and snacks. They are also able to offer dog care for a reasonable fee should you wish to explore island amenities off-limits to your furry friend. The suite is well-appointed with a comfy bed and luxurious linen, ample hot water and locally sourced touches (such as toiletries). It is spotlessly clean and wonderfully light. Jenny and Adam’s hospitality and island knowledge is first rate too, and it’s a great base from which to explore the island’s lovely pubs, beaches, and trails.

Negative: There is nothing not to like.

Positive: Jen was really forthcoming about early check-in/late check-out and very accommodating. There was a lot of attention to detail in the room and many useful amenities/toiletries and some snacks included. It was very comfortable!!

Negative: It might be hard to incorporate in the space, but a small cooking station of some sorts would be great. The address was hard to locate through Booking.com— Jen gave us some more detailed instructions that helped us find it, but this part could be smoother.

Summary: Lovely and comfortable room in rural Jersey!
