Positive: Everything I needed for my short stay was provided. The right amount of self serving breakfast options so we could have our privacy. Beautiful...in fact perfect layout for the bedroom, bathroom etc. The host was so friendly and we had such brilliant communication with her from a slight delay in our arrival due to adverse weather, to parking, to suggestions for food out, visits etc and local area knowledge. The rooms were pristine, the price was well worth the quality I received. We will be back soon if we can get booked in coz this really is a little gem!!

Negative: I tried really hard to find something that I could suggest for improvement but I really could not find anything...truthfully

Positive: Great location to visit Melrose and Abbotsford the home of Sir Walter Scott is less than 3 minutes away and is a must visit. Sheena the owner had thought of everything and was very engaging.

Positive: The accommodation was kept in an excellent state, it was spotless and cosy throughout and the facilities provided for everything we ever needed and was beautifully presented. Our whole stay of 2 nights was extremely comfortable and with a very welcoming host.

Positive: What the owner provided in both room and the extras, were fantastic and really above and beyond. There is no hot ‘Scottish breakfast’ but this totally suited my needs as I rarely have it anyway. The ‘continental breakfast’ was brilliant and replenished daily - I will be returning…
