This peaceful farmhouse nestled in the Pisan hills offers a serene escape surrounded by nature. Perfect for families and groups of friends, the recently renovated home features air-conditioned rooms with new mattresses, a large fenced garden welcoming pets, and a private swimming pool with a modern cleaning system.
Enjoy long walks, relax by the pool, or explore nearby cultural gems like Volterra, Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca, and even Florence—all easily accessible for day trips. The beach is just a 30-minute drive away.
Outdoor amenities include a brick barbecue and an electric car charging station. Optional services available upon reservation and payment include wine tastings, catering for breakfast and dinner, and up to 15 electric bike rentals. Guests can also rent a motorboat for up to 13 people. For added comfort, three extra bedrooms can be booked onsite.
A security deposit of EUR 400,00 will be required closer to your check-in date. You will receive a separate communication with the payment link. Summary: Wir haben das Haus auf anhieb gefunden und durften den Garten und Pool schon mal benutzen, obwohl wir zu früh ankamen. Die Unterkunft und Umgebung ist einfach super. In der Küche ist von allem genügend vorhanden. Die Umgebung sehr gepflegt und schön.

Summary: Tolles Haus! Wir waren mit 5 Familien (10 Erwachsene und 10 Kinder vor Ort) und jede Familie hatte ihr eigenes Schlaf- und Badezimmer. Auch eine sechste Familie hätte noch Platz gehabt. Die Anfahrt über einen Schotterweg kurz vor Chianni ist etwas mühsam, dafür hat man aber eine wunderbare Alleinlage und eine grandiose Aussicht über einen wirklich tollen Teil der Toskana. In Chianni selbst kann man kleinere Einkäufe tätigen, einen größeren Supermarkt gibt es erst in 35 Minuten Entfernung. Der Chef in Anna´s Bar (Pizzeria im Zentrum von Chianni) ist in Deutschland geboren, sehr freundlich und macht auch die beste Pizza vor Ort. Generell schlechte Strassen im Umland. Für 30 km braucht man meist mehr als 45 Minuten. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Ganz toll natürlich der 19 m lange Pool, den unsere Kinder 4-10 Jahre ausgiebig genutzt haben. Pisa, Volterra und San Gimignano sind nicht weit weg und der Strand von Cecina Mare bietet sich ebenfalls für einen Ausflug an.

Summary: Wir haben 4 Wochen einen wundervollen und erholsamen Familien- und Freunde-Urlaub in der Villa Podere San Giovanni verbracht. Die schöne Villa in toller Alleinlage bietet einen absolut fantastischen Ausblick auf die toskanische Landschaft. Die Größe des Hauses, die Ausstattung und 7 Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bädern, bieten genügend Privatsphäre für alle. Die große überdachte Terrasse, mit super Grillecke, ist ein idealer Platz an warmen Sommertagen und für gemütliche abendliche Aktivitäten. Die neu gestaltete Poolanlage ist einfach klasse, ausreichend Liegen, Sonnenschirme, kleine überdachte Terrassen mit Tischtennisplatte etc. und neuen Duschen. Wir wurden von Federico herzlich empfangen und bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen schnell und hervorragend betreut. Die einzigen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschläge betreffen die Ausstattung der Küche. Bei einer Kapazität von über 20 Personen würden wir die Anschaffung eines zweiten Kühlschranks und einer größere Kaffeemaschine empfehlen. Das kleine authentischen Bergdorf Chianni ist sehr schön. Hier findet man kleine Supermärkte mit einem guten Angebot und am Donnerstag in den Abendstunden sogar einen kleinen Wochenmarkt. Besonders in Anna's Bar haben wir uns bei mehreren Besuchen sehr wohlgefühlt und lecker gegessen. Fazit: Die Villa in toller Umgebung ist für größere Gruppen ideal und bietet alle Möglichkeiten für einen wunderschönen Urlaub.
