Cameron's Colonial is a privately owned home under restoration. We are located four blocks south of lake Atwood. Two blocks away from Atwood's quaint downtown business district. Just 21 minutes north, Swanson reservoir is a delight, nominated number one fishing lake in the state of Nebraska. Large and small game hunters always enjoy the abundance found in the area. Our 1905 Colonial home is turnkey, with numerous amenities. The master bedroom upstairs has an adjustable king bed, and Greek themed master bathroom. There are three more bedrooms upstairs. Queen beds in each, with a daybed in one, and twin in another. There is one full-size bathroom for these three bedrooms. In the basement you will find a bedroom with a queen bed. Another room with a twin size bed, there is no door at this time for this room. You will also find a queen size hide a bed for your use. There are three seating areas in the home allowing ample room for large get togethers. The kitchen is fully supplied with all cooking and dining necessities during your visit. The laundry room/office is stocked and ready for your use,located right off of the kitchen. The kitchen has a large 1950s O'Keefe Merritt gas range. The oven is small so an electric range has been installed in the laundry room. USB ports have been installed in all rooms. Cable and internet is supplied. There is a handicap ramp if needed. Plus plus plus, an elevator to all three floors.

Summary: My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Colonial House VRBO in Atwood. Our host Dale was very responsive in our communications and extremely helpful with the flexibility we needed with our plans. We all felt very at home and were glad to have such a warm and inviting space to gather together. The supply of bottled water and soda was a nice touch. We would recommend this rental to others! Summary: Our family enjoyed this spacious, very clean home. There was more than enough space for our family and entertaining visitors. This home is stocked with plenty of pots and pans for cooking and entertaining and has very nice amenities. It is full of surprises everywhere you look. Yes, we would rent this home again.

Summary: When we arrived at the house all the curtains where closed. It was cold, not warm, welcoming or inviting so we opened all the curtains. I have rented a lot of vacation rental's over the years and I have to say I was shocked we had to strip the beds and pile the laundry at the end of the bed. We are the guests not the employees. We went to use the bedroom in the basement and the bed was stripped with the linens from the previous guest were still on the floor. We then had to find clean linens, make the bed prior to being able sleep in it. The bathrooms upstairs had no extra toilet paper and the kitchen garbage disposal did not work. Completely understanding the renovations, however, there was no sign letting us know. Other than these few items we all did enjoy our stay and learning the history of this home. We would stay there again.

Summary: This place is a one of a kind! It was super comfy and also a little spooky at the same time! It had every amenity you could ask for! I can’t wait to bring my family here! The owner is super nice and honestly cares about your experience. The town is small, but there is a nice lake and everyone I came in contact with was very friendly. Staying at this property is truly a night I will never forget.

Summary: Loved the shag green carpet, the retro kitchen, the neighborhood was nice and quiet. We hung out, watched some television, the host was very responsive, if you are able, I would recommend this VRBO!
