Positive: Clean, Rooms were amazing and private in their own way. Enjoyed the not having to worry about losing my key to the room as well. And I loved that the property manager/owner was always readily available.

Negative: Just the parking. In the night it’s great. During the day. You would have to park around the corner. No biggie to be very honest. Just parking in front would be best.

Positive: Communication with host was very easy and she gave me good jnformation about the island, even helped me with booking a tour. Location was not a scam as I believed in the beginning.

Negative: There is constant traffic on the road nearby and sometimes the level of noise is really high, but acceptable after you get used to it.

Positive: I stayed at the Smart Hotel in Trinidad last week and had a fantastic experience. The place was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. My room had a large, soft bed, a small living area with a big TV, a bar fridge, and even a kitchen sink, perfect for light meal prep. The private bathroom was spotless, and I appreciated having a dedicated work desk to get some business done during my trip. The hotel also has a nice café area with free coffee and a relaxed seating space — a great spot to start the morning or wind down in the evening. Its location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Port of Spain, within walking distance to restaurants on the Avenue and close enough to the city for meetings and errands. Loved my stay here and will definitely be back again on my next trip to Trinidad!
