Positive: The Gingerbread House is an enchanting, inspiring and impeccable guest house. Bernard and Rosy are delightful, very welcoming and helpful. The property is like a little haven and the room was beautiful and I felt like I was living in a Gaudi sculpture.

Positive: Great location, in walking distance of Ariapita Avenue where you can find shops , restaurants and a bank(Republic Bank) with an ATM . It has a plunge pool that is great for cooling down, the people (Bernard and Rose) who own the property are friendly and helpful.

Positive: No meals were offered in this booking but that was ok they had plenty of recommendations for meals offsite I was very pleased with the atmosphere of the facility. Very serene.

Negative: No complaints at all

Positive: Starting with the positives: the host was nice, the location was very convenient and the garden /pool area very nice and well maintained. That said I found the listing confusing because I didn’t realize we won’t actually be staying in the cute traditional house that is shown on the photos but in a modern building behind it, as the other one is the house of the owner. The unit where we stayed was okay but the furniture and equipment were dated and cleanliness could be improved too. Overall it was not bad but I found the price not corresponding to the quality.

Positive: Beautifully landscaped little piece of paradise. It was so close to the avenue, great food and entertainment literally steps from the house yet very quiet and secluded. You feel very safe there with a good security gate and cameras as well as a personal alarm that alerts the owners in a case of emergency. The plunge pool is perfect for cooling down after a day in the sun. The owners are right there if you need anything and they are lovely people.
