Summary: My family and I spent six nights at this property, and we wished we had booked longer. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the area was scenic and peaceful. Our kids loved playing on the nearby campground's gigantic trampoline, seeing the peacocks and other wildlife, and generally exploring the area. There is a river next to the property that we could hear, along with frogs, from the front porch (you have to walk a ways to access it). The host, Rishelle, was super communicative, and when we mentioned lacking a couple of things in the kitchen, she came by immediately to supply them. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want to be surrounded by beautiful nature within driving distance of so many cool places to visit, while having all of the basic comforts of home, this home is hard to beat. By the way, some have mentioned that this property is hard to find, but we just drove to the end of the campground and there it was. Easy!

Summary: We picked Santa Paula as a central meeting point to spend Thanksgiving with my adult kids Everyone loved the place as well as the setting Big bonus was the available Traeger grill! I cooked our best turkey ever!! Also the beds were the most comfortable beds we ever sleept on! BTW what brand mattrest were they?? Thank you for a great stay and looking forward to return in the future

Summary: Great property, as advertised. Stayed here night before heading to Ventura for Channel Islands Excursion (about 30 minutes away from Ventura). Quiet and well appointed. A little hard to find, by Google Maps, but local contact Matt was extremely helpful by phone. Steebeck park nearby has an Aviary, with a Cockatoo who talks.

Summary: We all really enjoyed the stay. Since this is just getting really going a few minor items like lighting in the bedrooms and hooks to hang stuff would be good. The owner was very prompt and courteous with any requests. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Summary: What an amazing treasure we’ve found, nestled in the hills of Santa Paula! We spent our wedding anniversary in the adorable tree-lined quaint home. The owners made sure we were well taken care of and were simply fabulous! We especially enjoyed the tranquil surroundings and beautiful amenities of the estate. The interior is equipped with all the luxuries of home, complete with full kitchen, spacious living area, two bedrooms, and bathrooms. The deck surrounds the home and was great for barbequing and enjoying the scenes of nature. But I have to tell you about the master bedroom that is absolutely amazing. The aesthetics of this haven are wonderfully relaxing of a boutique-style with just the right amount of masculin and feminine balance commingled to send you to a cocoon of blissful slumber. The location is central to an array of activities, museums, shops, and restaurants that will delight any traveler who is looking for a well rounded get-away. There are so many places to go and things to see that I can’t keep from dreaming of my return to this classy location to complete my adventures. Thank you, for such a special experience!
