Positive: Amazing staff, super friendly. Cooked me up a great feast when I arrived late and hung out and played cards. Nice and social. Rooms were really tidy and the gardens and birdlife were great. Wish I could've stayed longer

Positive: The staff was super nice! They even helped us clean our shoes after the trek and cooked us some amazing meals with meat from their own chicken coop!

Negative: There aren’t a lot of attractions around, but it’s a great spot for a relaxing stopover.

Positive: The guest house and other facilities are great for relaxation, it might be a good place for a retreat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are okay for one night.

Negative: It was complicated to find the place. We had a full day in Mount Kenya and approached the location when the daylight was gone, plus it was heavyly raining. It took us almost 30 minutes to find the entrance despite the GPS showing we were already there. A member of the staff had come out to show us the way. The staff were very accommodating, which would not have been a problem if it wasn't because they would not silence other guests that asked for loud music to be played until late at night.

Positive: I already felt welcome from the first second and also during my hole stay. If you love the silence, you'll love this place. They also offer hiking trips to Mount Mc Kenya and serve delicious meals at any time. I would highly recommended Tranquil Homestays.
