Positive: Lovely clean apartment. Excellent location to shops and restaurants.

Negative: Would have liked a hand rail to hold on to when in the bathroom by the shower, especially when coming down the steps. Also maybe a bigger settee, as if there are 4 adults there wasn't much room for everyone to sit down in comfort. Otherwise a lovely place to stay!!

Positive: Lovely building, comfortable place which was perfect for our needs and contact was really good with the manager and owner! Everything was done to a high standard and we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you :)

Negative: We just had a few issues with the iron leaking, lack of places to hang up nice dresses/suits (we were there for a wedding) and the water in the shower was boiling hot but the owner is keen to sort so I'm sure she'll be proactive :) The sofa is a little uncomfortable because the cushions on the bottom have lost their stuffing it feels so maybe worth replacing? The internet isn't great in the bedrooms but works fine in the kitchen and living room, but it is a VERY old building which is the joy of it so can't be too surprised!

Summary: Wonderful old building, fun, lovely stay!

Positive: Great location right in the pretty historic centre, and lots of character as it is so old. Good to have 2 bathrooms, and a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and spacious.

Negative: Would be useful to have another handrail at foot of stairs to help navigate the corner steps up to bedrooms.

Positive: Very spacious and well-equipped kitchen.

Negative: Finding the place was a challenge! I parked my vehicle and asked four or five of the store fronts along the street if they knew where the property was located and only one was able to direct me to what they believed the location might have been. Lucky for me, they guessed correctly. The entrance is to the rear of the building and was not well identified. There was a sign, but it did not match the name of the property and could barely be read. The property listed adequate parking on street, which was not always the case. I would highly recommend the owner lease a designated space in the rear of the property. There is a surgery center that appeared to have more than adequate space. I negotiated with them to utilize their parking after business hours, but the hassle of having to move my vehicle and find "adequate" parking nearby every morning was inconvenient. We had problems with controlling the hot water in the master shower and the other shower did not drain adequately. There needs to be a binder of some sort to provide instructions on how to operate and location of thermostats, etc.

Summary: Spacious master bedroom and bath and kitchen. A designated parking space needs to be addressed.

Negative: Finding the property was difficult. Better signage is needed! Controlling Hot water was problematic. Shower did not drain, ankle deep in shower. We had to use mater bath room for all to shower. Shower in master was not enclosed enough. We used hand towels to keep water off floor. A slip mat in shower is recommended. Parking is not at all convenient. Would suggest owner lease a parking spot from the surgery center in rear of property. Need more information on how to control thermostats, etc.

Summary: Finding property was difficult. Showering in both baths not good (Water controls and drainage)

Positive: Lovely property, I stayed with my wife and 2 kids, we had plenty of space and its location is great. Parking is a 2 min walk right opposite Waitrose. It’s surrounded by restaurants and cafes so there’s plenty of options if we didn’t want to cook. Clean good size en-suite bathrooms, comfy beds and a cosy apartment which a great find for our bank holiday weekend away.
