Positive: Beautiful aspect, very tranquil, designed for comfort, amazing provisions.

Negative: The unit has been kitted out to a very high standard but a number of small maintenance issues needed attendance. We actually didn't mind the TV not working, we booked it for all the positive reasons mentioned above.

Summary: The best of a 5-stop tour of the west coast and Trossachs, its remoteness is its beauty.

Positive: This is a fabulous flat in a wonderful location. Trish, our host, greeted us in person, made us feel welcome, and provided a great breakfast pack. This modernised apartment is as per the pictures, and the views over Loch Goil and Carrick Castle are beautiful. We wanted a tranquil, off the beaten path, location and this was perfect. There are local bars and restaurants in Lochgoilhead a short drive away, but the well equipped kitchen meant we enjoyed making our own meals too. The main living area is spacious and fear not, the WIFI works despite the remote location for those who want to stay in touch. The bedroom is cosy and the shower room is modern. Trish made us aware of a couple of side lights not working, but this was no inconvenience at all and did not detract from our enjoyment of this gem. Indeed, we appreciated the honesty and generosity of our host. Overall, this apartment enhanced the wonderful Easter break we enjoyed. We will come back should we head this way again.
