This comfortable apartment is tucked away in a central location near the intersection of highways 12 and 24. Summary: We stayed at this VRBO property in Torrey Utah to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary in October of 2024. Prior to arrival the owner/host sent us very detailed instructions including step by step directions. These directions included GPS coordinates that when cut and pasted into Google Maps walks you foot by foot right up to the front door. The rental is a second floor, single bedroom, single bath unit. When we arrived the home was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Everything was in its place and anything we would need was there. The rental is about 10 minutes away from the Capitol Reef National Park Visitors Center, our primary destination. It’s also about 50 minutes away from the town of Boulder Utah and the famous Hells Backbone Bar and Grill. The bookcase in the living room contains a library of books about the area including ‘Capitol Reef National Park - The Complete Hiking and Touring Guide’, an indispensable book for anyone interested in hikes. The bedroom bed was comfortable and covered with a warm comforter. The owner has even placed USB charging cables on the nightstand. Extra blankets were in the closet although we did not use them. Plenty of hangers as well. The shower supplied plenty of hot water and there were plenty of towels. We did not use the washer/dryer so can’t comment on that. We also only used the kitchen for breakfasts but it is well stocked including a drip coffee maker and a toaster. The refrigerator and oven were spotless. Th
