Positive: This property is very well thought out, on the ground floor, was clean with nice linens and towels and good privacy. The hosts are very nice and great communicators, any issues can be resolved quickly. I was sure where to park and Theresa sent me a text with a picture 2 seconds later of exactly where to park (for free!!!!) right in front of the house. House and apartment access is very easy and was provided right away, codes for the keypads. No issue with that at all or arrival time day or night was not an issue. The apartment is 2 nice sized bedrooms with comfortable double beds separated by a bathroom in the middle and each bedroom can be locked off from the inside for privacy. The kitchen is pretty much stocked with everything you need including free cans of pop, chips and noodle soups. Great microwave! 👍 There is a little Juliet balcony off the kitchen facing the back yard that would be perfect for smokers. The bedrooms each have a chair and desk and laundry hamper. The kitchen table has very comfortable folding chairs but there is no living room or tv so bring your own media. The pictures on the wall are very tastefully done with inspirational messages. I liked the old oak trim and brick floor in the hallway that have all been well preserved. I have lots of positive things to say about this property how well thought out the layout is and how nice the hosts are. 😀
Negative: The bathroom is very nice with lots of space for shaving kits and everything else you need. Tastefully done but the shower is tight. Water pressure was great though. The thermostat is set at 70 and is for the whole house so cannot be changed. It was a little cool for me but my daughter liked it. It was perfect for sleeping. There are 3 apartments upstairs so you will hear creaking on the floor/ceiling but it did not bother me. The parking spot for my Nissan Rogue was a little tight length wise, but it just kind of fit with my tail end just at the sidewalk. No one bothered my car during our 3 night stay.
Summary: Nice people, nice place had everything we needed and great access for the CNE Toronto.

Positive: Convenient location, quiet at night. snacks and drinks provided in the fridge were nice. The property owner was responsive and friendly—the first night an automatic light kept coming on in the hall that kept us up, and he came right away the next morning to fix it.
Negative: There were SO MANY febreze plug ins—the smell was unbearable. We unplugged them for our stay but it was still overpowering. I wish it was easier to determine if a property uses heavily chemically scented products as we had a chemical sensitive person in our group. Overall the property was clean but we did find a cigarette butt and ashes on the interior of our windowsill which was gross. The bedding was polyester and thin, not the best.
Summary: Good location, responsive owner. Would not recommend for people with scent sensitivity.

Positive: the fresh fruit and snacks that the host provided where very much appreciated. Easy to get to the local shops. Heating was great. they bought in an extra bed for our stay as the configuration did not work for our group (4 single people) - Thank you
Negative: No Toaster, no can opener, shower too small, no lounge room, very tiny space, The kitchen needs a good clean and I was not told that people would be living upstairs and using the same front door for access - very noisy with creaking floor boards and they were up early most days - an ambulance was called for the upstairs resident which resulted in excess noise. Very disruptive. The view to the back garden was unappealing (need to do the gardening).
Summary: It was ok but overpriced
