Our residence is located in the Santa Maria Novella neighbourhood, where the splendid Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, the Pharmacy of Santa Maria Novella, the Novecento Museum, and other beauties are located. The neighbourhood is renowned for its restaurants and is also the main transport hub of the city, with the central station of Santa Maria Novella, the Bus station, and the tramway station which directly connects the center of Florence with its airport. The flats are 5 minutes away from the Arno River, the Duomo, 10 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Vecchio. The apartment is 200 meters from the central station, the station of the bus, and the tramway, which connects the city with the airport. Our flat Otello is available to small groups starting from 2 persons. However, when rented to small groups (2 persons), the bedrooms in excess will be locked. If you are in 2 or more persons and each one of your group wishes to have his/her own room (sofa bed included), that's possible but we will charge you an additional 15€ cleaning fee per room used. The fee must be paid upon your arrival. If you wish to have the extra room or sofa bed prepared, please tell us at least 48 hrs before your arrival. Without this communication, this service is not guaranteed and may be carried out the day after your arrival.

Summary: We only stayed one night but had a great experience overall — clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, check-in was smooth, and the space was well-appointed for a short stay. The only downside was finding some ants during our visit. Otherwise, we would happily stay here again.

Summary: This apartment suited our family of 5 adults very well. It is beautifully renovated and has 2 washrooms which made it easy for us to get ready to go out. Florence is very walkable and this apartment is centrally located to the train station which helped us with a day trip to Pisa. It was challenging to reach the host through the VRBO app at times. The host mentioned that the messages I had sent did not come through until a day later. Once the messages were received, the host was very responsive.

Summary: A lovely hidden gem close to central station. Minor draw back … you compete with others for hot water in the morning, so get in early or show in the evenings.

Summary: The apartment was very well situated, only a few hundred metres from the main train station and an easy 15-20 min walk to all of the key sites in downtown Florence. It was very clean, quiet (due to a courtyard between the apartment and the main street), and was exactly as pictured on the website. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. All in all, an excellent choice!
