Positive: Very good accommodation for our trip to Izu Peninsula. Centrally located. Onsen water in tub. Washing machine is a plus. We were first shocked there are 6 bund beds and 2 futons but no bed for a couple. But if you put 2 futons together and push the coffee table to the side, you get a giant king bed. We are very happy with our stay in 203.

Positive: The room was incredibly spacious and came with a wide range of facilities, including plenty of plates and cups, a toaster, microwave, electric kettle, a Dyson humidifier, a large refrigerator, and clothes hangers. The bathroom was also very spacious, making it perfect for a relaxing soak. The water is said to be from a hot spring. The parking lot is covered with small pebbles, and the surrounding area is very quiet, yet not too far from areas with more shops. There is no front desk, and everything is handled online. We contacted the staff through LINE, which was very convenient. （However, it’s crucial to check your email in a timely manner. Since we were busy traveling, we missed checking our email. Without completing the check-in process via email, you won’t be able to access your room upon arrival, as you won’t have the room number or the key code.）

Negative: On the downside, the hot water takes quite a long time to heat up, and you’ll need to run a lot of water before it gets warm. The pricing is per person, so for our group of two, the booking showed double the listed price, which caused some initial confusion. The Wi-Fi was very slow and often couldn’t load webpages. Additionally, the road in front of the hotel was quite dark at night.

Positive: Spacious apartment with several rooms, comfortable beds, bathroom, washing machine, massage chair, wi-fi and other amenities. The neighborhood is a bit far from the town but rewarded with peacefulness (and a few doors away from a restaurant that became the highlight of our stay thanks to the friendly owner). As for the hotel, there it's self-check in and no reception - but it's not complicated at the end. Some questions we had were promptly answered online.

Negative: A "cleaning fee" appeared after already confirming my payment - there was no way back from paying, and the final price was more than 150% of what I originally saw on Booking.com and expected to pay. Usually such fees appear before you click "pay" - here it appeared after the click, really. At the end I am happy because it was a great place to stay, but the "hidden" nature of such fees is something I condemn. A very stressful moment you don't expect while on vacation.

Positive: The apartment was very cute and comfortable. The beds were warm and cozy. We loved having the sitting area where we could relax and visit. The owner communicated the check-in, parking, and other procedures very well.

Negative: The parking lot was very dark, and it was very dark walking between the parking and the room at night.
