Positive: Really well equipped home from home with comfortable beds and sofa. Tasteful decoration too. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you for the milk and biscuits too, this was a lovely touch.

Positive: This is a wonderful home actually - fully equipped with whatever you might need and more! Everything worked fantastic and we felt more than comfortable. Location is perfect for different services (close to shop, health centre, major tourist attractions), which is not the case on the Islands at all necessarily! Just a short drive from Stornoway too, so very very convenient.

Summary: just absolutely perfect! We are seasoned travellers, and we really recommend this place.

Positive: Spent nearly a week in this spacious, comfortable and clean cottage with garden, fully equipped with everthing you need as a couple or family. Our welcome was very nicely prepared with fresh flowers in the rooms, milk, cookies etc. The local village shop (200m) is offering all little things for the day, and you can have tea, coffee, cake and some hot food.I t's just a short walk to the coast with black houses attraction and impressive views. On your way you will also pass the local tweed mill. Don't judge from the outside - even if the whole factory is really old, it's very impressive inside. We had a nice factory tour, seeing the whole tweed manufacturing process. Everything was well explained by the very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would not hesitate to repeat it exactly in the same way if possible.
