Positive: Thousand Hills Guesthouse is very stress-free and the host is very helpful. The place was perfect for my simple needs. I used Herizal, the guest house in house guide for a one night two days jungle hike. Herizal was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was always trying to make my experience a pleasure.

Positive: Paradise garden in the Jungle near the small river were you can soak or enjoy the view and sound of the stream. So silent and beautiful. Welcoming host, highly recommended masseuse Ishak (Iz), who is also great jungle guid. His poor english is not a problem, because of rich heart, creativity, responsibility and humanity.

Negative: Would more comfortable to have sink and hot water in the room.

Positive: Simple bungalows in a beautiful garden. Joseph the owner was very friendly and always helpful. You can book trekking tours into the jungle directly there. I booked two days with an overnight stay in the jungle. The tour with my guide Ahmat and the cook was very nice and we were also able to see orangutans living in the wild. The large luggage could be left in the resort without any problem during the trekking tour. It was a very nice stay there.
