The house is situated in an area of outstanding beauty and tranquility, with a beautiful view towards the crown of the Pisan mountains, covered by forests of pine and chestnut trees, but without having the defect isolation. It has a garden on two levels, with separate entrance, equipped with sun loungers, and, on the lower level, grid and table for fourteen people. The garden allows exclusive access to the stream below, where you can also fish.
The entrance to the apartment is independent, with a large terrace with table and chairs from where you can admire our wonderful mountains and Wart, an ancient fortress of Pisa.
Besides the access road, 10 meters and sloping down to the river Zambra, there is the garden in the countryside, equipped with deck chairs and sun, and a very large table with barbecue, great for dinner with friends, and enjoy a bit cool on the creek, after spending a day at sea.
Our major art cities are within a short time: PISA in 15 minutes, 20 minutes LUCCA, FLORENCE in 1 hour. Then there VOLTERRA, SIENA, the Sienese hills, vineyards, with San Gimignano, Vinci and
Montalcino, Tuscany then again so rich in history. In less than 30 minutes you can reach the coast, with the beaches of Tirrenia, Marina di Pisa, Marina di Vecchiano, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, where the nightlife is not missing, then the city of Carrara in the Apuan Alps, and its marble. Just 300 meters from the house, there is the Carthusian Monastery, which is one of the largest Carthusian monasteries d 'Italy, and which houses the Museum of Natural Sciences of the University of Pisa.

Summary: Had a great time. Lots to do in the area. Not enough time to fit everything in. We'd recommend having a car. Lovely patio area for breakfast with a fantastic view.

Summary: nice and clean house with good views,kitchen could benifit from a filter coffee machine and a toaster.easy trip up to the mountains where you will find two excellent resurants,also local pizza takeaway very good at 6euros.just over a hour to florance and twenty mins to pisa.overall a very nice stay.

Summary: We were a family of 6, and we all enjoyed the 11 days stay here. The apartment was more than big enough for us, and the owners were very helpful and friendly. They live nearby and it was always easy to get in contact with them. It is around 15 km to the city of Pisa, and you will need a car. However, there is a car park for this apartment just outside the door. Very nice walk to village Montemagno, and further up to the medieval Verruca castle ruin on top of the mountain. Fantastic view of the entire Pisa area from there! By car, circa 25 minutes drive to beautiful beaches west of Pisa. Supermarket, a few restaurants and gelaterias in Calci, 10 min walk from the apartment. Highly recommended, and in our opinion, good value for money. Tore Kielland Norway

Summary: It was easy to find. The house is located in a small traditional village few minutes away from Pisa City Center and offers an easy drive to the beach, to Livorno, Florence or wherever might you like! The house is spacious, fresh and charming. You will find everything you need inside and, in working condition. Renzo and Elisa are very kind hosts. Elisa deserves few words on her own, as she incarnates to pefection the elegance, kindness and warmth of the Italian ladies. You will most definitely enjoy your stay. We will most certainly come back!

Summary: We had a beautifull vacation in this spacious house. Everything we needed was available. The owners were very friendly and helpfull. There are a lot of things you can do (the museum in Calci, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Sienna, Firenze, the sea, visit wine- and oliveyards, etc.). It was great to taste a little from beautifull Tuscany.

Summary: Cleanliness: 5 Noise: 4 (being that the property is located in a narrow road, sometimes the driving passer-bys might toot the horn and might occasionally be heard if windows are open). Surroundings: 5 (excellent view of mountain, trees and stream underneath). Amenities: 5 Facility of access: 4 (private parking available). Owners: 5 (Very helpful and friendly).

Summary: "Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Owners and pleasant contact. Excellent accommodation for further trips to Italy. Campus wonderful and friendly. The only problem is the cars, and often close to passing the narrow alley next to the windows of the house often blowing the other cars descending from the mountains. I highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you and your wife for a nice stay and an unforgettable vacation."
