Positive: Very spacious. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfy beds. Quiet location. Interesting village and cosy pub. The hosts were available to solve a hot water issue but were in no way intrusive

Negative: A few pictures on the walls would have made it look more homely.

Summary: A perfect place for our family gathering. We would plan to come again!

Positive: Good location for our purposes and quiet. Lovely roomy house with big bedrooms. Good parking facility. Heating worked well. Lovely soft carpeting throughout. Oven, microwave & washing machine all good but an airer might be a usefull addition.

Negative: Evening TV reception poor, lots of buffering, but possibly due to remote location. Tried retuning but that didn't help. Fridge very small for 5 bedroom house and it was difficult to fit all our fresh food in it.

Summary: Very pleased, would stay again.

Positive: Spacious house, over the road from pub. Quiet area Group of 5 annual get together so plenty of space for chatting & catching up. Has minor issue when there & owners did their best to sort it quickly.

Negative: It is a little sparse on some items - no dishwasher tablets or spare toilet rolls however for price wouldn’t expect those so is fine, just remember to bring these things with you. Also couldn’t get one of the showers to work - could just be us not understanding how or might not have worked

Summary: Stay was fine - nothing to do in village but for a base is fine and suited my purpose

Positive: Location was great, house was large and spacious. There was enough seating in both the living room and dining room, beds were comfortable, with good bedlinen, quilts and pillows kitchen was fairly well equiped

Negative: No WiFi, but also very little phone signal, or network data. Absolutely nothing extra is provided- I have never stayed in a house which has a deliberate policy of not providing a single scrap of loo roll. As a result, I had to go straight out and buy toilet roll, soap, washing up liquid, and dishwasher tablets for a 3 night stay. There were 10 of us staying in the house, but only 7 fairly small old thin towels were provided. None of the bedrooms have bedside lamps, so if you want to read in bed you have to get out of bed to turn off the main lights. There was only 1 undercounter fridge, with an ice box. This was completely inadequate for 10 people even for a 3 night stay. The house also feels a little cold and bare- e.g. not a single picture in the whole house

Positive: Good location close to a pub. Lots of space for the ten of us. Beds were comfortable.

Negative: Only 1 shower. The other was broken with no notice of this or mention on key pick up. 1 shower between 10 getting ready for a wedding wasn't great. Also, mould up the bathroom wall and frayed towels. Only one toilet roll in the two bathrooms with no spares available. No bin bags either. Very basic. Just think a house with beds, pots, pans and cutlery. No sharp knives, no bottle opener. No wifi, bearly any phone signal. Sofa's uncomfortable but usable.

Summary: If you are desperate, it is basic accommodation where you can rest your head at night.
