Positive: Lovely, well presented hotel. Room and all communal areas were spotless! Staff really friendly and made an effort to chat. Lovely continental breakfast, all fresh and a wide selection. Good sized room and bed, shower was good..all round good hotel!

Negative: There was no hot water one morning, I assume it had run out by 10.30-11am. Our pillows were very thin and there was only one each.

Summary: Ideal location, lovely people and a perfect stay!

Positive: Incredible hosts, family owned with their eatery right around the corner, amazing food, met whole family who were warm and open, very clean and professionally presented rooms, linens of quality, port wine and chocolate treat greeted us, 8 min drive to Castelo e Vila Muralhada, de Ansiães which is not to be missed!!

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Wonderful place, great location, incredible hosts, origina old stone building converted to B&B, very nice breakfast
