Positive: Clean, air conditioning, had most things needed to cook

Negative: Fan in ensuite makes a terrible noise and the online description of the house should be more accurate. It was advertised as 7 beds but the 2 single beds were trundle and didn't even fit in the room if they were both pulled out. Also advertised as dog friendly but then when we arrived the booklet said dogs must be kept outside. This was not ok.

Positive: I loved that when I explained finding a broken toilet brush in one of the loos, the host immediately brought a replacement. The linen/cleaning cupboards were really well stocked with cleaning needs and spare blankets. The bedrooms and common areas were really lovely. There was some water provided in a dispenser for our arrival. There was quite good cookware and an excellent cooking space for kitchen duties. This all really stood out and made for a great impression. Excellent air con in both master room and common area. We appreciated the great care taken in all these ways and our experience is that the host takes constructive criticism with the best attitude, doing their best to implement improvements that reflect this, which makes them a truly competent host as far as I am concerned.

Negative: Trundle bed was short for an adult. Both doors to common areas, and the drawers in kitchen, were unneccessarily noisy which meant others were woken up repeatedly, this could have been addressed easily with noise reducing adhesives. Hardly any tea cups, we purchased a couple and gifted them :-) A real lack of normal drinking glasses for water, most people don't like tin cups. Also a crack in the toilet seat in the en suite. The door from garage to kitchen was very difficult to close, extremely noisy as a result, and would need some carpentry to address this, yes, could be summer expansion.... Code at outside door does not seem to work causing security concerns for us. Security key to front screen door also does not seem to work. Secondary bedrooms get quite hot, only solution is to leave all the doors open reducing privacy for guests...possibly some attention to jasmine and lattice at side would alleviate this heat problem. Lastly, to point out that as Booking.com didn't allow me to edit the dates, a direct add was made with the host. Somehow their system allowed a double booking for the last night, which caused a lot of extra fuss for my team. The replacement accommodation that was offered and accepted did not include WIFI, which was a huge oversight, but luckily we were able to use our starlink to remedy this.

Summary: Would definitely stay here again, the positives greatly outweigh the negatives!

Positive: Quality appliances and enough pans, cutlery, and mugs compared to other places I have rented for the week. Lovely pond and park area for walking the dogs, easy access to town and out to Lucky Bay.

Negative: The check-in process was ridiculous. I asked to be able to check in between 2 and 3 pm and that I would text them 20 minutes out of Esperance. I rang the mobile number four times, with overheated dogs in the car. Eventually, I logged into my emails to check I had captured the mobile number correctly to find they had sent an email that morning telling me a code for the garage door. It took them over 3 hours to reply, they could easily have picked up the phone and told me.

Summary: Will definitely stay here again if it's available

Negative: had to clean vacuum cleaner as was full of mess. dishes left in dishwasher from previous guests & ensuite toilet has a leak - just needs a new ring I think in cistern. had to clean BBQ from previous guests
