Positive: The restaurant was very good and the food Staff very friendly

Negative: We went down to the restaurant They had a special on the burgers it said any burger for £18 and a pint so we ordered the station burgers and a pint each. The lad that served us took the order no problem The lady said that is not in the offer jet did say any burger so we ordered something else so a bit confused. I phoned up early in the day to see if they had any rooms for the night and asked how much a room would be she said we have 2 rooms left and I said how much she said £80.00 so left it at that So looked on booking.com and got it for £76.00 Why is cheaper to book on these sites and not directly to the hotel?

Positive: It was close to family and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park plus the Garden Centre 5 minutes away for breakfast.

Negative: The mattress wasn't comfortable, it dipped badly in the middle.

Positive: Breakfast was good, great coffee. Clearly a local popular spot. Only about 3 trains passed by in the night but I'm a light sleeper, my partner didn't notice. Very nice friendly staff.

Negative: Everything was good, slight bit of damp near the corner of the sink in room 5, but looked like it was being maintained.

Positive: The property is great value for money. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful.

Negative: The mattress in Bedroom 1 needs attention. It’s has slumped under the front left corner. Replace this then it would be brilliant. The air conditioner for the pub was under the bedroom window - a bit of a nuisance.

Negative: They don't do breakfast, only "brunch" from 11.00 which was too late for me.

Summary: Very nice, I may stay there again.

Positive: The welcome was nice. Efficient staff. Clean modern room. In fact a large room. Ideal for people with walking problems as it was ground level. Even though connected to the pub it was a quiet room. As there for Halloween event it was ideal.

Negative: Didn’t dislike anything. Maybe move the large plant pot outside the door to the other side as my partner walked into it when exiting the room.

Summary: Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and again.
