Positive: All went very well. We had booked a double for 1 night B&B and the reception were very good. The outdoor bar area was great especially as we had lovely sunny weather in the evening.

Negative: Not a problem whatsoever on our visit but more an observation for the long term maintenance - the en suite in 16 has an extractor fan that is not changing the room air volume adequately. Showering (which was an excellent unit) in the en suite resulted in lots of condensation on all surfaces in that room (lovely tiled walls, mirror etc) which over time will produce mould. The owners should consider re-assessing the technical need and installing a more efficient extractor fan. that also runs for at least 10 minutes after the ensuite light is turned off That would be really beneficial to the properties longevity when it comes to controlling condensation and also preventing mould in the future. Nowadays humidity controlled extractor fans do the work automatically and would be worth considering. Our experience was not a problem to us whatsoever however we are both engineers and can see that unattended to then there will be condensation problems in the future

Positive: Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent, good quality breakfast, didn't eat any other meals but the menu looked good and other guests recomended the Sunday Roasts. Good sized rooms with modern bathrooms.

Negative: The rooms were very nice but really need a doormat outside or inside to stop dust and dirt being walked in from the courtyard, which can get muddy in wet weather. This is just an observation, not a criticism

Summary: Friendly staff, great food, nice modern rooms, will certainly stay again

Positive: Lovely area, the food and the staff were amazing. Nice clean room and bathroom.

Negative: The glasses and cutlery were dated so very worn/stained. Which was off putting when eating/drinking.
