Summary: Clean but compact room with external access from the nicely kept garden area. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Both my evening meal and breakfast were great. I really liked this hotel, the only minus was that the Wi-fi was poor, just too slow in busy periods, but that could have been just during my stay. Overall great!

Summary: Overall the stay was good. The cooked breakfast was very good, but the rest of it was quite limited and when I asked for another glass of juice I was told I could not have one, yet on the first day I stayed there I could help myself. Generally I found the breakfast staff to be a bit grumpy and they did not give service with a smile. I did not eat at the hotel as I was not inspired by the menu - too many burger options for me.

Summary: Everything was as we expected. Great staff, friendly bar and a great steak night. Not forgetting a fabulous breakfast. The only negative were the impressive bird droppings on my windscreen after I made the mistake of parking under the trees in the car park. Long journey to Tesco Wellingborough to find a car wash!
