Positive: A stunning and breathtaking Island! It was always in my dreams to visit the Maldive and this resort was the best chiose. White cristal water full of marine Life ( I swam with a sea turtle!), delicious and great variety of food at any time, our host Youssef was extraordinary, kind and always ready to help us. The smile of the staff is something I'm not going to forget, especially when we danced together at night at the Todis bar. The cheffs in the kitchen prepared special plates just for me, what a treat! They guided us in an unique experience. I love snorkeling and every corner of the Island was full of fishes! Thank you agian for the lovely stay! Fernando and Bruna.

Positive: It was everything we wanted and more. The island is beyond beautiful and exactly as seen and described in all the photos. The vibe is luxury with a playful, laid-back energy that makes you feel at home while still being completely spoiled. All the food options were delicious of course. However it was the people and staff who went out of their way to look after us that made it above and beyond, their care, friendliness and always going the extra mile to make sure our stay feel effortless. This includes everyone from our host, to airport transfer, housekeeping, restaurant and bar services, and the dive center, everyone just radiates hospitality and genuine joy.

Positive: Saying that our stay here was incredible is an understatement. We stayed here 10 days for our anniversary, and the hospitality here we saw from everyone was really professional and very friendly. A shout-out and a very special thanks to Poula who made sure that our every request was fulfilled. He was our friend here on the island and made sure that our stay was exceptional. The best thing about this hotel is the lagoon view from the villa, and what an incredible view it is. No pictures you will see online will ever do it justice. It was simply breathtaking, and the sea life we saw in the lagoon and at the island's reef was abundant.

Positive: A small, but absolutely gorgeous island. We loved the food, drink and the beach villa. What we loved the most is the staff (especial shout out to Eva our host & the bar abs kitchen stuff). My son was celebrating his 10th Birthday and they decorated our room and help us celebrate it beautifully. Also when we get to Male airport, the contact person (Thoriq) was very kind and helpful.

Positive: Our third stay at the Standard Maldives and definitely not the last. We were very grateful to have been welcomed back by the incredible hotel team, it really felt like home from the first moment. Nice to see the concept developments happening under the new brand of Hyatt, we are looking forward to see the upcoming changes. It's already noticeable how much the food options have improved, especially at the Izakaya where the Japanese cuisine is just phenomenal. The key to us coming back to the Standard for the third time belongs to the people working at the resort. We can't thank Rajesh and Sujata enough for their top level care, be it a Kula bar or at GudaGuda & BBQ, they always knew what we needed even before we knew ourselves. Riaz from the pasta corner is an absolute master of his craft, from the very first till the last day I ended up eating just pasta for lunch at Kula because it's just too good to pass on. Nelson from Beru deserves a special mention too, it's extremely heartwarming when people are genuinely happy to see guests being back at the resort. Nelson did remember us instantly and showed incredible love yet again and it's very mutual. Hope you're enjoying your vacation. These people are exceptional professionals and even better human beings. As for Mr. D, there are simply no words to describe what gem of a person he is. We are simply grateful to have met him and this relationship is already going beyond the hotel life as it's the connection we will cherish. It's hard to digest that a single person can have such a profound impact, not only on our stay, but also personally. We wish him and his wife Naza greatest success both in life and professionally. Mr. D needs to be included in the UNESCO World heritage lists, please treat him well because he's one of the main reasons for us to visit the Standard again.
